Although I meant to post a pic of my lined pocket bags, there's a lot of excess uncut fabric there.

The only issues I've ever had with my FH jeans is the yellow inseam overlock stitch thread coming loose, and the stitching around the front pocket threads coming loose, when I haven't had this issue on other pairs (or didn't have it until much later.) I think this is more due to their use of all-cotton thread than anything else.

Aside from the stitching coming undone in 2 minor places, they're all use & wear related so I think it could be related to cut? I do love the 3012's fit and will def buy another pair.

My first pair of 3012s and flatheads in general. Does anyone else find their quality a bit lacking? I have to send it in yet again for repairs. Guess sugarcanes have spoiled me.

what fender reinforcement are you talking about? after searching around, i never knew fender braces were a thing. never heard of that. interesting.

I think you're on the right track. I had koni inserts on swifts.They were great but the install took forever. Honestly, before doing a rear sway I'd do the fender reinforcement. The front pushes more than the rear needs to slide in my opinion. And save your beans for a set of 04 STi wheels or have a set of 05-07's redrilled. Super light and a classic style.

So after years of shooting strictly film only, I have taken a bit of a detour and bought a Leica M-P 240, its been a bit of a learning curve, but heres a few shots from first week of ownership - I guess from the first few "rolls"

The romantic in me thinks I can handle a bare bones 80's CJ.  Ya know doorless, canvas top and whatnot, but I think that would get real old real quickly when you've got to cover 600mi in a day. Still a dark horse candidate though. 

$5K. Wouldn't mind a project car either that only needs maintenance or drivetrain work. No body or frame work for me. 

I don't think cool guy is in the budget. Something that will get me remote places cheaply, safely, and if possible, comfortably.

My buddies and I are debating where to stop on the way to Dubrovnik. Rome/Milan or ...? Current plan is to stop in Monaco for the GP after Dubrovnik.

I plan on travelling soon, perhaps to some dicey areas. I want a fun, cheapo point-n-shoot 35mm camera as a primary, likely only camera. Has to have punchy flash too. I don't want to spend more than $50 and will probably scour ebay and such for deals.
