Well, well, well look who it is LOL. Emperor, I'm sorry to make you wait. overexposed1 said your post had a direct "plz" in it so he gave me a call. I've been incredibly preoccupied and I do apologize. We did take a batch of photos of a bunch of stuff, including the sweats.
There are some serious contenders here! You guys have really done awesome work on your sweats. Mine are nowhere near, and even if they were, I would have tough time qualifying myself due to my negligence of updates!!!
We really went to town on these, adding pockets, belt loops, transferring the patch, and fixing a hole. There is one belt loop left to add. Also, there is one final touch which is proving to be quite labor intensive and is still in progress.
The fabric is ALL original Left Field indigo terry and the pockets themselves are templated from Left Field!
Alright these are sick! John - I owe you an email dude. I have been meaning to post an update for a while now. Believe Christian said before, but I moved out to California a few months ago, and am no longer involved with the day to day at LF. I'm living out on a ranch now and taking care of horses.
Anyway - here are the pictures. Still wearing these all the time.
Happy Sunday LF dudes. Keep it green.

Hey guys - sorry for the lack of updates lately, but Satchel hit it on the head in regards to trade show season and the like. We just put up some Japanese deadstock 10 oz. denim Greasers up on the website. Just in time for Fall, right?
Anyway more updates to come shortly.

I echo the feelings of everyone else in this thread, but I heard somewhere that they are in the process of setting up their own looms??

Hey guys - sorry for the long lapse in posting, but I was on vacation last week and tried to turn off technology as much as I could manage outside of keeping an eye on email.
John - those green Chelsea jeans belonged to a customer and just had to take a few pictures. They're definitely in need of some repairs, but I think the guy who's wearing them is planning on wearing them into the ground and starting on something new... Anyway - I owe you an email back!
I'll post some pictures of my sweats shortly. Still wearing daily, but I feel like they've reached a point where there's not too much new to show since last time. I think I've hit a plateau where now the most significant change to the eye will probably be when the knees rip out or other repairs are needed.
Hope everyone is doing well. We expected activity to slow down a little bit for the contest during the heart of summer, but hopefully everyone pulls them back out once it cools off and we get some good updates. Hope everyone had a nice Independence day. We ran a 15% off sale that will end tonight at midnight I believe. Jeans and shorts will ship with a free bandana too.

I've got a quick question for Pepper or another of the Leftfield crew regarding the new bandanas. I thought about just emailing directly, but figured some others here might be curious about this too:
Are there additional styles or color schemes other than the one put up for sale on the site this morning? The instagram teaser photo included a few other bandanas that weren't clearly visible. I'd like to get more than one, but will happily wait if there are some additional variations to be offered. Thanks.
Those are vintage Fast Color bandanas. Thought it would make for a good picture. Just this version for now as we had to produce a million of them to do the rotary print.

Anyone know how the indigo twill miners fade?
I imagine they fade well. They're very soft off the bat, but we gave a pair a soak in the office and the fabric became much more rigid and crunchy.

Some great wear photos... Love those repairs.
Pictures of Cone green heather jeans we got in this week.

Sorry to crosspost, but we at Left Field recently began offering chain stitch embroidery. A selection of ready to go designs are available on the website, but we're also accepting custom projects. Our operator has been doing this for 40+ years.
Here's a video of the process.
And here are pictures of some recent stuff.

Hi guys - I just finished putting together a video of the chain stitch embroidery process.

How low did you set the temperature in the oven?
Kept the oven temp at around 225. When internal temp of the meat hit 150 I wrapped it in foil and put about 1/3 a cup of the mop in there. Pulled it at 200 and ended up hitting a couple degrees higher. I can't eat it, but my girlfriend said it was too spicy and I have a feeling I should throw down for some more expensive meat next time.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Here are a couple of pictures from mine.
My pockets have needed to be stitched up for a while, but finally got around to it. As good as new now. The tops will need the same treatment some time this week.
Although I don't eat meat, I have always enjoyed cooking. I bought a thermometer for my morning coffee making, but figured why not test it out with some BBQ for my girlfriend. Brisket and fresh bread. Overnight in the fridge with the rub. Took about 12 hours in the oven.

Resoled Peco's. Gonna give the leather a treatment tonight.

Is there any update on when the duck hats will be released?
2ish weeks. Got a couple additional fabric options that weren't shown on the instagram as well.

Sorry to double post, but just took some pictures of my girlfriend's Chelseas on the way to brunch. Love the fit. Think she might finally be committed to breaking them in.

Just a quick drunken shoutout to the Miner Cut. I think I have 6 pairs at this point. Just the best fit for me, period. Considering buying a second pair of the navy Japanese twill just to stock up.
If you love the Miner cut pick up the new Cone indigo twill. Not up on the website yet, but just landed on Thursday.
Edit: I mean - do whatever you want of course! But I'm very excited about that new fabric.

Those black greasers are so good. That the pair Christian has been wearing?
Christian has gone through about 6 or 7 pairs at this point. He wears his stuff pretty hard (understatement), and we only brought darning machine in last month. That was one of the pairs from the initial cutting of the sulfur denim. I'd love to see him rock a pair for 2 years. They would be wrecked.

Does anybody (maybe Satchel or Pepper) know if the 17oz. cone mills denim bears any relation to (or actually IS??) a 16.7 oz cone with similar gold selvedge ID that's floating around?
I got curious after my new greasers arrived yesterday and started looking at who else was offering heavier cone fabric besides the Tellason folks' 16.5oz. I could only find the W292 run/lot number on my LF pocket flasher listed on a jobber website as 16.7oz. By the way, I didn't find anybody else doing anything good with 17oz or 16.7oz other than Leftfield; just some kickstarters and a pair of real atrocities listed on ebay that I should probably add to the ugliest jeans ever thread.
Anyway, thanks for indulging my curiosity.
Yes indeed it is the 17 oz. gold line that you see a couple of other brands using. We're pretty happy with the variety of denim options in the shop now. Light, mid, and heavyweight denims from USA and Japan. A couple of special Japanese denims (black sulfur/grey heather). An expansion to the line of selvedge chinos is on the way. As always there's some cool, exciting stuff on the horizon. We'd much rather bring new things in seasonally rather than run the same denim over and over and over again.

Hey guys - we just launched our Spring/Summer lookbook. We took a trip down to Coney Island and knocked it out in 1 day. Rip and run style. Shot by yours truly and my girlfriend.
Here a couple pictures from the shoot, but if you'd like to check out the rest click the link below.

I know what i'm getting to start. andrew, i'll be in touch once i prep some $crilla.
Can't wait to see the custom projects that roll in... The guy we're working with on this is real deal. I find myself wondering if it would be a bad idea to have full back pieces on all of my button down shirts...

b_F - happy to see you here.
For those that don't follow us on instagram - we are now offering chain stitch embroidery service in house.
We'll be doing some one-off pieces and putting them up on the website, but also welcome custom work (rockers, back pieces, cursive names, MC/CC stuff).

Yes. Haven't seen the episode, but they filmed in Gentry a few months ago.
