  1. Kopped the Studio D'Artisan rainbow work shirt today, and it's definitely a banger. Their stuff fits pretty tiny though. I'm normally a medium but went up to a large for a still-trim fit. If you're thinking you'll layer that over something else, I'd size up two. There isn't a big jump between sizes.

Introducing Monitaly - Every Stitch Has A Soul

Since 1989 Yuki Matsuda has been creating beautiful garments under the label Monitaly. Always pushing the envelope of design and textiles; we've seen this line bypass trends for 27 years now.

We're proud to add Monitaly to our (small) roster of brands and hope you enjoy the details and designs which Yuki and his team are able to create.

That's pretty rad. Been into that brand for a while but never can actually check it out. Now if you guys can only stock this gem.

  3. So did BiG lose / give up their Real McCoy's account?

Or is S&S's claim to being the only RMC account only temporary while BiG finds other real estate?

I've been wondering this too. Sent an email to the RMC NYC store a week ago asking about what's up with their shop and never heard back. Seems like a long time for it to be closed, but you never know of course.

  4. I think they do make shirts!

Wait. Can anyone confirm this? I hit them up a few years ago about making a shirt, and they said they weren't doing them. Granted, that's been quite a while, but I've never seen shirting on their website or on their Instagram.

  5. It's the small things that'll keep me buying Ooe Yofukuten jeans as long as Ryo and Hiro keep making them.

Checked my mailbox the other day to find this postcard:

Does this mean they'll finally start producing shirts? That'd be awesome.

  6. I wore an old pair of white socks when I bought my pair of the Converse because I knew I was going to wear them straight out of the shop. They turned my socks completely blue, as advertised. Just a heads up to those thinking about not giving them a wash, I'd probably recommend it unless you already only wear blue socks.

  7. Cosigning the idea of making a shirt out of the same/similar denim as the SExDB's. A $500 shirt can seem outrageous to one person and totally reasonable to the next. I think the customer base could support a Grail piece like that in the same way, like you mention, that people love the MF CPO (I know I love mine). And while we're throwing collab suggestions out, SEPDXxDehen. Just saying.
