I think it may be the sizing. Before I saw the pics, it looked like the legs were going to be tight. But after seeing the pics it looked vintage style. IMO

For reference, can you guys give your personal stats so people can have an idea on sizing? I know it's not totally accurate but it may help.

Sized up from my usual 30 to 32 based on measurements. Mainly thigh.

My true waist size is 30-30.5

I measured my LVC 66 thighs and it came in at 12 inches. That's tag size 31. Waist is a little roomy thigh just right. Washed once, soaked once.

Im normally size 30/31 in most jeans and im going to size up to size 32 according to the sizing chart. i can live with a baggier fit.

Anyway, Im going to complete my order, what length should i choose if i want to get around 32.5 inseam after hot soak?

Maybe 35 or 35.5? The inseam shrinks a little over 2.5 inches from the measurements listed on page 1

Exactly the same reason why I sized up. 32 should shrink to a 29.5 or so, then let it stretch out.

what size you kids ordering?  i'm thinking 34?  looking for a 32/3 ish waist post wash.

I sized up one to a 32 (normally a 30) based on the post wash measurements.  Man I'm trusting the pics and taking a leap of faith that the thighs aren't going to be tight.

Hey guys! I've decided to go with the S5000VX buying from 2nd.

So is it SD1 or TTS? They don't take raw measurements because of past problems with other customers. My natural waist is 30 inches and the inseam on my other denim is 30. Is it still the standard 3 inches lost post wash? I was wanting to get it hemmed to a 33 inseam for a post wash 30 inches.

Judging by BIG raw measurements, I could fit a 29 if the waist doesn't shrink down to a 29.
