  1. The V7 has more p[wer and is shaft drive which generally means less maintenance. I've ridden both and I used to sell Guzzi's at the staore I work at and I would recommend the Guzzi. I have a friend with one and he travels everywhere on it, including long distance rides.

  2. End Clothing has a coupon code for 25% off plus another 20% for non EU. Thinking about grabbing these Trickers. Any idea how they fit compared to Alden Indy's? I am a 10 in the Indy's would I be a 10 in these as well?

  3. Yo guys. RE: Vibram in Toronto

I got word from the guy that told me and he said that the place that will do it is at Dupont and Davenport at a place called "Nicks"

Nicks is the best place to get your soles done. He doesn't always have a huge variety of vibram soles but he has the standards. Super high quality workmanship though.

  4. My Dry Bones celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the store I run and the newly renovated look. Invited tonnes of people and had a great time.

I'm in the middle beside the owners of the business.

  5. Party Invitation!

Hey everyone. This a is a little late but Motoretta is having a re-launch/customer appreciation party Wednesday May 25th at 6pm.

Everyone is invited just send an email to [email protected] to RSVP and I will add you to the list.

There will be free drinks and catered food and some sweet discounts on clothing and accessories.

  6. Hey Guys, I was wondering where I can get a hem on a pair of PBJs? I know that Sydney's chainstitch machine is broken, but does anyone know of any places that are relatively cheap and good?

Haha according to Sydney a couple weeks ago, he sold his chain stitch machine because he was tired dealing with 16 year old hipsters that like to talk but don't have much sense... he used stronger words. Pretty sure Matt at Klaxon Howl is the only person in the city that will do chain stitching and it would take a couple weeks.

  7. my main artist is also a friend and a customer of mine. i usually tip about 25% because he lets me jump the line and gives me a big discount off his his hourly. i also give him a friends and family discount in my shop on service for his bike and clothing and whatnot. The way I look at it as long as he can keep doing good work and I don't have the wait months like the rest of the people I am happy.

  8. Doesn't Gitman make McNairy? I know they make BoO and a few other brands shirts. I swear by the Gitman Vintage shirt. I love the way they are made. The only thing I don't like is that fact that their fits are hit and miss. For instance my standard blue oxford fits a full size larger than my white one... even though they are tagged the same. Pretty common for their shirts. That's why I always try them on and never order online.

  9. Great resource, have ordered a few samples due to your recommendations.

Was wondering how no CDG made it into the list? Quite eager for my wonderwood sample to arrive.

I noticed that as well. I love my Wonderwood and for a stronger similar scent the Monocle Scent 1 is pretty rad. CDG's definitely need to be added to the high swag list.

  10. 3Sixteen denim set to drop at Motoretta this week for all those interested. If you are not familiar with them they are owned by the same guys that run Self Edge NY. The denim is a really nice Japanese selvedge and they are all sewn in California.

  11. I've been told the OD process makes it breathe not quite as well. Beautiful denim though. :)

I was wearing my ods the other day when it was like 30 degress out and humid and I had not problems.

  12. 1. The grad student who can't shut about his work.

    2. The dude that thinks he is always right.

    3. The chick that showered in the shitty stripper perfume.

    4. dbags.

    5. The idiot that wants to dance in a party where everyone is just chilling out and keeps bumping into your drink.

    6. The retard that ask, "did that tattoo hurt?"

    7. The guy or girl that keeps bumping into you newly done tattoo that still fucking hurts even though it is covered and they don't know you have it... I hate that fuck.

    8. That friend that you brought to the party that immediately starts doing doubles and you know they are a bad drunk and can only imagine the embarrassing things that are about to happen.

    9. DRUNK HORNY UGLY CHICKS... FUCK OFF I AM NOT THAT DRUNK YET... come find me in an hour though.

  13. Yo Ed, nice jacket man! Jeans are OG IH (pre levis lawsuit). I got mine in '07 when there were still a few left in stock. Boots are White's classic worker/service in black chromexcel.

Was in client meeting from 6 this morning :( But now I'm done, summer's here, and I'm gonna play hooky for the rest of the day & ride :D

Finally some decent riding weather in the GTA. Must spread...

  14. go to Nicks on Dupont. best in the city by far. Matt at Klaxon Howl sent me there and said he has seen some shoddy work from Novelty. They resoled my Alden Roys and did a great job.
