  1. If you're going to jump in the pool, then no haha! Don't worry, a little rain ain't gonna kill em

Wrong. I have a pair of slim jim dry black coated. Got caught in rain and the water took off a lot of the leathery sheen. If you like that sheen, dont get them wet.

  2. Naked & Famous grey cashmere denim Slim Guys in Size 33. These have been worn a dozen or so times and washed once. Crazy soft and comfortable - you can definitely rock these commando. I really dig them but have been more partial to those epaulet trousers when wearing colors other than indigo.

    Waist - 17.5"

    Rise - 10"

    Thigh - 12.5"

    Knee - 8.5"

    Bottom - 8.5"

    Hem - 34"

  3. Quoddy Maliseet Oxford in black, size 10.5. I bought these off SF and they are unfortunately just a little too big for me. Worn approximately 5 times by previous owner and in excellent condition, I would say 9.5/10. Leather lined. Would fit a 10.5 or 11. I would also do a straight trade for a Maliseet in size 10.

  4. Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is quite the thread for it..but couldn't really find a better one so here goes.

New to the boot game but I wanted to dabble in some desert or chukka-type boots first. For the money I see between the standard clarks and the jcrew macalisters (though I'd shell out some more for some real quality)

Is there much difference between durability and comfort? I've look all over and haven't seen much definitive comparison. I checked a ton of brands but maybe is there another Crepe sole chukka that I should look into? Thanks guy

If you can afford the Alden unlined chukka boots they are SO much nicer than clark's or J Crew. If that's too much, i suggest Grenson or Loake or Alfred Sargent off of Pediwear.

  5. Naked & Famous silk Skinny Guy jeans in size 34. I wore these about 15 times and washed them once. They are still in excellent condition with almost all of their color (this fabric doesn't really fade). I love the jeans, crazy comfortable, but have been leaning more toward trousers these days. Measurements:

    Waist: 17"

    Thigh: 11.5"

    Rise: 10"

    Knee: 8"

    Inseam: 35"

    Bottom: 7.5"

  6. yea they really arent...

I have a pair! Average Joe Dry Organics. Great pair of jeans. love the arcs

I have the same jeans and love them. Fits on most Nudies are great, i find them better than the N&F i own, which get a lot of love here.

  7. went to the mr. freedom store today. wow. the midnight rider pants are the coolest pants i've ever seen. my wife thanks them for not having my size, and she doesn't even know i went to the store.

  8. Original Alden Indy 405 with the duck lining size 10 E. THESE HAVE JUST BEEN RESOLED WITH VIBRAM SOLES BY EDDIE'S SHOE REPAIR IN SHERMAN OAKS, CA - they also have brand new Alden waxed laces purchased at Leather Soul. These are about a year and a half old and have the requisite scuffs, but they are in very good condition, and the soles are brand new as stated.

  9. Spilled an entire glass of cab on my right White's oxford last night - no change. These things are unbelievable. Sending off for a resole soon. Wearing these out in the winter almost cost me my life.

what leather are these? distressed rough out or brown rough out? seriously considering buying a pair as my semi dress have become my favorite shoes.

  10. I'm debating some skinny guy black power stretch but does anybody have any ideas of the stretching and sizing on these?

I have some weird guys in 30 and they fit decent but after about 4 months of wear w/ no wash though I was probably able to pinch .75-1 inch at the waist.

I have the indigo stretch skinny guys. I would go TTS on these as i would on all the skinny guys. They stretch when you move in them. Mine are snug, but have witnessed they are no larger than when i first got them. Great jeans.

  11. anyone have the brown canvas slim guys? what's your take on washing them? would you wear them and wash them like regular pants? i'm getting them in tomorrow.

I have em. Worn them about 8 times. Havent washed them yet. Not sure if they will fade much, so you probably could wash them whenever. One thing i have noticed is they dont stretch like the denim slim guys. I would go TTS and not size down 1 like you would the denim.

  12. Alden Indy 405 boots in size 10 E. These are in very good condition, worn for a little over a year. There are scuffs and the like, but no gouges or anything nasty. These are the original 405 with the duck cloth liner. I will include the Alden cedar shoe trees - but if there are any price drops I will be keeping them.
