  1. Bless Hoodcoat, wool

Is this thing warm? How warm? Nice quality wool?

Been lusting after this for awhile, one just popped up for a reasonable price

    (not my pic)

It hurts because I just bought this Attachment stand collar wool coat, and I don't think I really need two somewhat similar wool coats

  2. if anyone needs a roofer in Seattle, let me know, my mom just got hers redone over the holidays after a tree crashed through our house, couldn't be happier with the quality. Added a skylight too, makes all the difference for extra light during the winter months

  3. I'm a true 36 with narrow shoulders, it fits oversized on me, with plenty of room for a knit on underneath. The main measurement on this is probably the shoulders, as the chest is very generously sized. Just remeasured, and they're about 18" in the front, 19.5" in the back. I usually wear 16.5" shoulders, and I liked the fit on the jacket. My friend, who usually wears 18" shoulders also liked the fit, so it depends on how oversized you want to wear it.

  4. SOLD THANK YOU

Just bought this from SZ forums user Drexel, and love the jacket. Unfortunately, a tree fell on my mom's house a couple days ago during a windstorm. She's alright and well-insured, but as an early Christmas present, I paid the steep deductible for her ($2500, ouch). This has left other holiday expenses stretched rather thin, so I'm offering this up for sale.

Coat is good used condition, with minor pilling around the wrist cuffs, bottom wool trim, and hood fabric. I've also reinforced a couple of the front buttons. Tags are included.

Color is DRKSHDW, a cappuccino brown. This is the moleskin version from Fall 07 Exploder, an incredibly thick 70% nylon/30% cotton blend that is much stronger than the 100% cotton or 100% nylon versions of other seasons. It's lined in silk in the sleeves, and is padded with goose down.

It's meant to fit oversized, can fit an S-L pretty easily, although the arms are cut high and rather thin, so a muscular L would have problems. Measurements are less relevant because of the cut, but roughly 17.5" in the shoulders, 21" pit to pit, and maybe 30" top to bottom.

Because of the circumstances, and the fact I like this jacket, I'm not inclined to sell below what I paid: SOLD THANK YOU $794 + shippingSOLD THANK YOU . I would prefer if you also paid PayPal fees or sent as a gift, but I'll eat the fees if that's not an option.

You can find fitpics of the same model jacket on this blog, keep in mind this is not my jacket, and is an XS, however, it fits very similarly:

edit: Sorry for the confusion, apparently the pictures on this blog are from the DUST colorway, mine is DRKSHDW

  5. My mom or my friend or my girlfriend or my dog cuts my hair once every two weeks, it's really simple with anyone who can follow directions. Number two razor along the sides/back, blending with a comb and scissors, I do the bangs myself. Every four months I'll get the top trimmed and bangs thinned professionally.

Sorry for the severe face, I usually smile heh

  6. I've found the stacking flares on the 21cms aren't as bad once you wear them in a bit. The inseams just need to shrink after a wash and settle down. I think the 21cms look great, and don't look awkward in the shots you provided.

thanks, gave them a wash and they fit a lot nicer now, actually

Ignore the stupid shoes and shirt, just threw some slipons on so they'd stack properly

again, for comparison, I know I was looking for shots like this when shopping for 21cms, 19cms in same size, same position. Honestly, last time I wore these they had quite a bit of room in the thighs, so I'm sure there's plenty of stretch, but I don't want to mess the proportions up if I ever lose weight again, so I'll prolly stick them in my closet

  7. Everone always says that 19s and 21s are only different from the knee down. This would seem to suggest otherwise. 21s look good in the top block, I'd just taper them a bit

Yeah, the 21 definitely has a wider thigh, even accounting for stretching. The 19s are literally pulling across my crotch now. Both are MIJ. I do like how the upper half fits on the 21s, good for a comfy jean, just with the insane stacking the bottom hem flares out way too much past the knee. I'd like to get them tapered, but need to get it done somewhere that won't mess it up like the last pair I had done

  8. hmm, been biking, my 19cms have gotten too small in the thighs, so I picked up some used 21cms in the same size (29, sized down from 31 natural waist), which are probably too big in the waist and calves. Unfortunate, since neither seems to fit too well now, heh
