hmm... your guess as good as mine 🤷‍♂️ ... i can take a look at the settings to see if there is some clue...

are you uploading via the upload tool or linking to another image url?
i cant reproduce it on the image upload...

    Thanks.

Vi'a the upload tool. The weird thing is that the photos which are on their side are just random, no rhyme or reason.

  2. Interest check.

Selling this pair of Lvc 1937 501xx in a size 34x34 New old stock from February 2003, which l guess makes them vintage (?)

The 1937 501xx took over from the 1937 '201xx' (which was made between 1996 and 1999). The first 1937 501xx were first manufactured at the Valencia Street factory in 2002, just before the factory closed for good (these would've had 555 stamped on the buttons). These are the next gen 37's made at the Taylor Toggs plant in 2003 (they have 643M stamped on the waist button). They are in an unwashed and unworn condition, only being briefly tried on a few times. They still have some cotton left on the waistband where the label was and also some reddish lines at the bottom of the side stich - this will come out after a wash as it's only tailor's chalk. I've had this on other pairs from this era with similar marks so no worries.

The size is 34 x 34 but as with any item of clothing,  please look at the measurements and remember that they are shrink to fit so will probably end up around 33x31.5 after numerous washes.

    Measurements are as follows- -

    Waist across = 42cm/16.5"

Inseam = 81cm/32" (the high rise makes them a 34)

    Front rise = 33cm/13"

    Back rise = 42.5cm/16.75"

    Thigh (from crotch) = 32.5cm/12.75"

    Hem across = 24cm/9.5"

These 37's are a tad darker when compared with later models made outside the USA, this could be the Cone denim used.

Price £250 which includes free worldwide shipping and insurance.

  4. For sale

Lvc 1880's Triple pleated blouse in a size XL. This earliest style denim jacket repro was the first generation manufactured c.2014(?) Beautiful greenish blue hue to the denim (manufactured in Japan) which is difficult to pick up on my phone camera. This item has been gently used, having been washed once after it's initial hot soak to get all the shrinkage out. Not worn a great deal and now hardly gets any attention so it's time to move it on.

Two things: Firstly l removed the patch when it was new/unwashed, but will include it in the sale (as well as the og tag) so that it can be reattached if so desired.

Secondly the cinch strap (buckle side) was shortened by an inch (shown in pics) by my better half. This was done purely because the og strap was so long it was unusable (lots of discussions on DB about this issue on release as l recall) so now at least it is functional. These last two points indicate that this is a jacket/blouse to be worn, so not necessarily one for the collector.

£150 plus postage/shipped to wherever you live.

    Measurements are as follows -

    Shoulders across = 50.5cm

    Armpit to armpit = 57cm

    Shoulder to cuff = 63.5cm

    Armpit to cuff = 49.5cm

Collar seam to base (down back) = 59.5cm

    Waist across = 53cm

    So which one is better?

  6. There's one guy with ' l Try' on his number plate (he's  got a 100 grand beamer 2 seater) and another bought one of those Lambo 4x4's. These guys aren't young! I mean have you ever seen Victor Meldrew driving a Lambo 4x4? So sad.

The worst is one guy so minted, he drives to the club in his own personal golf buggy with 'My hole' on the plate. Doesn't even bother with a car! Told his mate once if he was in that much pain that he had to advertise it, l had some Anasol for that in my bag. Not had anybody come back at me about it so l guess he sorted it.

I keep my distance from these people.
