Whatever is in the cupboard......
Same here - usually Tescos non bio or bold 3 in 1.
However, l must admit that most of the time l rarely use detergent with jeans, just rinse them through on there own

^Blimey, and l thought l had a problem with 5 denim jackets. Seeing that post above makes me feel so much better

They do look like decent repro Lee pre-war bucklebacks. Nice pick up @MJF9 - looking forward to seeing how these progress.

Can someone help me find these jeans without the massive mark-up?
As much as I love Son of a Stag - being based in the US makes it a little more expensive than I'm willing to go for.
Thanks!
Soas prices are legendary!
Most peeps look around Soas and find what they want, get the sizing/product info they want and then shop around the web for the cheapest price.
I've only ever used them for their hemming service.

So as promised, some pics of my SC47's. Bought 2 pairs in 2010 but this pair not worn until 2013/14, but after a small scooter accident (where they got covered in mushy berries and other autumnal debris) they were washed, then stashed away until more recent years where l wear them occasionally. Guess l know I'll never afford another pair so want to keep the colour. Worn with my Duke belt and my old Lvc x Aero leather jacket.
Here ya go Neal !

Happy birthday Charlie aka @Dr_Heech. You’ve caught up to me again!
Hope you had a good one yesterday, Martin and aren't feeling too shoddy?
Yes ... 55 today - thought about wearing my lvc 55's to match but since have dug out the SC47's so hopefully get a snap of them later in situ (Mrs_Heech is down so can take some as l'm bloody useless with the selfie taking )
47 definitely sounds better than 55 tho.

I'll have to get a pic of my pair, although l think they're heavily creased, which is what happens when there all folded up and lying on top of one another in a drawer or suitcase. May have to buy a metal rail or something similar.

Has anyone bought/considered buying the new SC blanket-lined Type 2 yet - SC15210?
It’s a good price. I just can’t justify another denim jacket so I’ll live vicariously through you.
Hey come on mate, time to stop living vicariously, especially on a day like today - it's your birthday ffs. Just have more alcohol and then drunk -buy a TTS fit size model only to be uber-regretful the following morning
On a more serious note - At least the lining content is at last(!) true to the Troy Mills wool/rayon/cotton mix type blanket linings used in vintage denim jackets between c.1930 and the mid 1970's.

Already is one Chaz.. search ‘man stain on jeans’
Think that's more of how to remove man -milk stains from jeans, as opposed to the celebration/ showboating of said stains as an improvement of the jean aesthetic.

After looking about on the web and seeing the crazy prices for a decent metal one, l've decided to build my own with whatever l can find to hand.
Will post up the results when l get it done.
