  1. hi all, couple of questions that have been puzzling me for those knowledgeable on the bags, specifically the 6TS XPAC,

    1. what are the press studs on the liner for ? ( i get that the ones on the inside of the bag lid are for sealing the lid and keeping it in place when it's rolled in. )

i can't see what function these other ones can perform / might be used for ?

also was wondering if i have my liner the right way round ..

    2. Anybody know why there's velco on this end section of the strap near the quick release buckles, just been wondering !

no biggie on either, just would love to know if anyone knows !

    1. As far as I experienced from my Reload bags, you can use them for compression.

    2. I guess the soft velcro tap is meant to protect your clothes

  2. [iC] Arcteryx Veilance Anode Coat AW2014/15 size Small

Got this coat almost one year ago, but never worked this well with my wardrobe. Thus it hung most times in its clothing bag in my closet. No flaws or whatsoever. Think I have the bill over 800€ (retail price) somewhere floating around in my documents.

Is somebody interested? Will let it go for approx. 600€ > 550€ > 525€ shipped, but shoot me an offer and we talk about. I think there is one at ebay for 660€ (not mine!). So yeah, talk to me when you are interested.

  3. had some billing issues at least on paper with DF. i bought an anode coat at sale and the original retail price was on the billing info. however, my cc was charged the reduced price. nothing to worry about.

  4. it will depend on your personal sensation of heat. I am wearing Mionn & Monitor with thin merino pullovers in winter (~-10 °C). BUT, it also depends on your physical activity. Also, the Monitor is a coat and reaches down to the knees and thus it locks a bit more heat compared to a short jacket.

  5. A few quick questions about the Mionn IS Vest. Is the material similar to that of the Arc'teryx Atom Lt line. Also in comparison how thick is the insulation in the Mionn.

In terms of fit, I wear a Partition LT in small (with a blazer underneath) and a Node IS in XS.

Based on the measurements in MR Porter I'd be a small but was wondering if someone who owns one could comment on how the fit. Thanks.

Iam wearing the Mionn Jacket in Small from previous season under Monitor in Small.

  6. Sounds good to me (kinda wish I had a normal Field Jacket instead of the IS, actually); just depends on how much insulation you want/need. Atom LT is pretty thin...

the AR on the other hand is pretty bulky and cut weird. Tried both before getting the Mionn jacket, which is more like the Atom LT jacket, even cut-wise. The AR is more on the "squarred" side. I had the feeling that length and width are the same.

  7. One peeve I have with the bag though, is the buckles take a lot of practice to open with one hand like how Errolson did in the video. And when I tried pulling the flap harder, the whole buckle just get pulled up, still attached to the flap. So, I leave the flap unbuckled most of the time. Not that it is a big deal using both hands, but it is just difficult opening the bag to get something out when 1 hand is occupied.

not sure about todays bags, but my 8-ts had customized buckles so that i was able to open it with one hand. just wait like cmdR told ya or take a file.

  8. depends on the part of the trouser, due to the different materials. but the upper part was water repellent to some extent, at least last year. the fabric around the calves was drying more quickly
