I was going to post some pictures from Le Samourai, but was too lazy. Good choice.

I have a pair of LVC 1947s and I'm looking into getting something from Sugar Cane for my next pair. I realize the Hawaii and Okinawas are modeled after the 47, but how similar are they? I sized up on my 47s so they're a little roomy.

Finally, what's the consensus on the SC 1966? I like what few pics I've seen, but it doesn't seem like many people here have them.

EDIT: Realized the Okinawa/Hawaii comparison question is done to death.

Had an amazingly lucky strike and picked up a pair of brand new Buzz Rickson service shoes (M43) at Mister Freedom today. I was going to post some pictures before I got to dubbing them, but the light in my apartment is awful right now, and I want to get them sealed up. Pictures of the end result sometime in the near future.

I'm weary about making a thread devoted to it, but are there any similar stores like this in LA? I'm moving there in a week and I can't wait to check it out, but I'm wondering if there are similar places as well. Supposingly i order the coat in august, but everytime when i call they said they dont have my size, after few unsucessful attempts in september and octoberso, i give up in november. The lady that works there call me last week and I order the pointer hickory stripe on thursday and got it on saturday, extremly pleased with the service. she also gives me the coupon code to use online as well. The fabric is prety stiff, but i think it will soften up alot after few days,
