  1. I don't hate your contributions, I hate your hate. I'm not a big fan of you playing the dollar-police, but I'm on board with the factual aspects of nearly everything you are saying here (except your certainty that I will be bestowing neg rep upon you) even if I am not a fan of how you decided to say it. Also, your comment about appreciating the cork sole on the Indy's definitely served to remind me that despite our differences on a few minute issues, and our approaches to them, reminds me that when it comes down to it, we see more things the same way than from the diametrically opposed stances that often are made apparent in this thread.

I think that Cat's Paws are a terrible purchase if all you are concerned with is durability/function per dollar spent, but if you are willing to spend a little extra on something "looking right" even if it is to the detriment of durability, then that's your call, and it could well be worth it to you, especially if you are getting soles that are from the 90's/early 00's instead of examples that are 50+ years old.

thanks, i was just curious about them. i think once i wear my soles down a shit ton i will get vibram or lugz. thanks for the help people

  2. For the life of me, I can't figure out why it is so hard for LVC to get the sizing right. At the current sizing scheme, I need something like a 30x36, which I don't even think they make. It's so retarded that I can't even wear them, which is a shame. That's probably the only brand of jeans I can say that about.

i fucking hate it too. my jeans were a 30x34, now theyre not even a 32. i can not stand it, because i dont like to sag my jeans and i also like to cuff them and i now started wearing indy's so it looks really stupid. but have you check e-levi.jp ? they make their raw LVC in length 36 :D

  3. Been lurking for a minute. Been wearing LVC for a few years now.

This is my first real posting, so first some basics...

    This summer's project.

LVC 1947 (28x34) after one soak and 3 months of wear:

I'm a DJ by trade, so most of the work these see is loading, setting up and breaking down gear. Then of course they see profuse perspiration when I'm playing in hot, packed clubs.

I usually go a full 6-8 months before an actual wash but I think I gonna go ahead an give these a whirl in the machine.

    Anyone advise otherwise?

I have two other raw pairs (a '55 and a RRL straight leg) that I'm dying to get started on.

thats YEARS! i thought they would fade a little, but those look like mine that are only 6 months.

do LVCs not get visible/ contrasting atari, or whiskers or anything?
