I'm not sure I understand what aligned and unaligned is referring to.

How can I explain this:

Aligned is when the pants are lying flat and both sides of the waist band are 'aligned' and measured.

Unaligned would be just laying the pants flat and measuring the back waist band.

For the measurements on the pants, is it aligned or unaligned?

I'm 15.5 aligned, but 16 unaligned. So I don't know if a 30 or 32 would fit properly.

Frank X i think the Nudie hate probably because people discovered brands where the clothes are better made at an equal or lower price. Have heard many stories about Nudies not holding up well and falling all apart after less than warranted wear. Nudies feel kinda cheap in person, i dunno...haven't checked for it in a while nor have i ever owned a pair

Then again I have heard the same about APCs, I wear mine pretty roughly even though they haven't faded that much, and have remained intact.

I own a pair of SJDJ, about 1 year close to. Quality is decent, biggest problem if you ask anyone is the crotch area blowing out (Happened to me, which I went and repatched the area). Also own APC NS in black, have not worn much so cannot sum up the difference quite yet.....

Comes in black and brown as well. And since your mentioned 'uni' I'm assuming you mean university, so that bag can carry your books/laptops/notebooks etc as well. Nice contrasting colors and the handle makes it versatile when carrying.

I like the shape of the black peacoats. The side button is a nice detail IMO, and your jeans will cover it up if you don't like it.
