In the interest of balance we should take a closer look at the people making the accusations, i would never condone victim blaming but this could be their fault..
@JohnM for instance.. i'm not sure how old this guy is but he sounds like a typical zoomer.. I bet he was making a TikTok or taking selfies while Roy was trying to engage him in friendly repartee, easily triggered by Roy's unwillingness to partake, he's taken to the internet to get him cancelled.

i can't imagine being able to understand the second half of this if i didn't have "young people colleagues"!

When I lived in Singapore (before I was really into this hobby) I found this to be very common with t-shirts from a lot of fashion brands in Asia.
As a bigger western guy I would have to buy XXL t-shirts from Gap or whatever other fast-fashion brands were available.
They would just get wider and wider in the body without adding any length. Surprised to see this from FW, but I think this is the first time they've made XXL in the Power Wear tees.
Maybe you got a dud, how does the actual shirt compare to any measurements available online? And did you give it a wash?

    hello from Singapore!

  3. i've received my 36 but unfortunately they're a smidge too tight for my liking even though they fit. should've trusted my instincts rather than the japanese style of measurements. will put these on ice for when i finally lose weight!

  4. i did end up buying a pair but because i haven't purchased denim in what must have been the last 7 or 8 years, completely forgot about export models and the red tab policy. any idea if they are going to come with the red tab?

This roundabout is about 40 minutes drive from me and it's the easiest roundabout to negotiate in the world. In fact, you dont have to go round anything, just point your car where it wants to go and sorr of drive in a straightish line. Job done

sounds like they should build one in vietnam!

I'm trying my best to give up my watch.. it's hard because i haven't taken it off since the mid-90s.. it's a difficult habbit to break because if it's not on my wrist i feel like i've forgotten something which freaks me out.. but realistically in the days of tech who actually needs a watch other than posers, golfers or folks who like to display their wealth.. i'm not a tech guy i only got an iphone4 recently, given to me by my elderly aunt but there is a clock on the wall, a clock on the oven, a clock on my mac, a clock at work, a clock in the car.. clocks everywhere and apart from going to the dentist once/yr i don't actually need to be anywhere at any given time, certainly not to the nearest second.

My watch ran out of battery about a month ago, so although it's still on my wrist, it doesn't tell me the time.. this was the first step to see if i could live with not knowing the time at every given moment... I can, next step will be taking it off.

you sound like the kind of guy who......needs to get the battery replaced. : )

  9. I haven't encountered any other brand of jeans that fits similar to the SC66 (other than maybe MF's Lot 64).  It's a tough cut to pull off, with the narrow waist and full cut everywhere else.  Just about everything else you'll look at is going to be slimmer.  I haven't gone looking for the 710's measurements to compare, but I'd expect in the same tagged size the 710 will have up to an inch less rise and thigh compared to the SC66.

michael, i agree with you. if this is worth anything, the 710 fits a lot closer compared to the sc66. it is by far a lot slimmer though i'm not sure how slim you're looking for. given that, the sc's aren't really an accurate representation of the LVC 66's although they are a very wearable pair of jeans. i had a pair of SC66's but that was a long time ago and i'm not sure if there's been any major changes to the cut. seems like there wasn't though.

here are the measurements for a W33L28 post wash

    waist: 16.75 inches

    front rise: 11.5 inches

    back rise: 16 inches

    upper thigh: 12.5 inches

    knee: 8.75 inches

    leg opening: 8 inches

    inseam: 26.25 inches

  11. i picked up a pair of these a couple of weeks back before my trip to japan. got the W33 L28 from rakuten store C.Point. rakuten was running a small promo during the time so financially it made the most sense to me.

have been wearing them for approx a week or so and my first impressions on these to follow below.

    1) the fit is great for me, i was looking for something slim in the leg as i already have a couple of fuller cut jeans. the leg opening measures 8 inches on these (seems to be big based on some of your standards) but slim enough for my liking.

    2) they feel like a more modern representation of a 66 cut given the thighs are a little narrower than what i thought they might be but will work if you're not heavy in the thighs. you will have better luck looking for a more accurate 60's cut elsewhere if you're into the details. but that being said, these are in no way a "bad" representation. just different.

    3) they same to be pretty fast fading to me to be honest. i've had about 8 actual days of wear into these and there has been some noticeable wear already, mainly close to the back rise and some whiskering. was pretty surprised it took so little time.

pictures and measurements to follow shortly when i get some better lighting.
