  1. EDIT    SOLD

Thinking of selling these Conners Sewing Factory s409xxx M46 , I may well regret it but there too big , at the moment im the heaviest I've been and there still a little big on me

    Size 33

    Waist 40.5 cm

    Inseam 80 cm

    Thigh 30.5 cm

    Front rise 30 cm

    Back rise 40 cm

I've worn them maybe 2 days so there pretty much like new

Maybe I have been a bit over the top in the way I've handeled this past year but we’ve stayed home for the most of it , country walks and whatnot is the most excitement we’ve had ..... we did go to the beach once or twice but it was October and was freezing so apart from other dog walkers it was empty . Those beach pics last summer just made me sad

  4. Anyone remember a brand called “endevour” ? Had two chimps on the patch , Levi’s arcs and a red tab . They were posted here maybe 10 years ago , had a look through here a few times but the pics/links must be dead . Always regret not buying them at the time because they were ridiculously cheap

Troy Mills blanket linings used in jackets from the 60s onwards have incorporated man made fibres

Makes sense , had a quick google and the original blend was 60/40 ...... surprised I remembered that , the misses sends me to the kitchen for something and 9 times out of 10 I've forgot by the time I reach the fridge

^ 10–20% synthetic content has been common in wool shirting and blanketing for a long time, and can help a good bit with longevity

Someone with more vintage knowledge will probably chime in and correct me, but for something like the lining on a ‘50s-era jacket I’d bet that 15% poly is an accurate repro

The original troy mills blanket lining was reused wool and cotton blend , think it was maybe 60-40 wool to cotton but I may be wrong on the ratio

  7. I have one of the same afterhood sweats there pricing at £315 and while it is a great hoody ( super warm ) it's not worth anything near the money there after . I bought mine maybe 5 years ago and I paid £200 at the london shop , that's maybe still a little too much if I'm honest

The international pricing has taken massive jumps every other year for the past 10 years , I'm surprised international retailers can sell them with the huge markup
