    Vintage Denim?

@Sympathy-For-The-Denim Thanks , pretty stoked to have found them but there not with me yet ( took the pics from the seller ) its my understanding that the tear tag came a few years later , maybe 76/77 ? I’m really not sure . This is another thing I’m not entirely sure about but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tear tag without the words “ care instructions inside garment “ in black , above the 501

    Vintage Denim?

Just bought these There never gonna fit me but it was too good a deal to pass on . Not every day you find a pair of deadstock 501 levis ( from around 1974 ) for not much more than a pair of LVC

The 46 still holds over some of the wartime details , unfinished crotch seam , dome back pocket rivets ( sometimes steel ) , mix of plain and stamped rivets , stitched arc compared to painted and a few others . If you have a look at the warehouse product page you can see the products side by side
  5. Could have swore I made a similar thread before but it may have been on denimbro ??? Ok so this is a place for you to post ( in your opinion ) the consistently best dressed people on the internet . Where possible mention there name and where the pics are taken from and if there from Instagram have there username in the post First up is the shop manager of Fake Alpha in Harajuku , had a pic with this fella on my other phone from my last time in Tokyo but the phone is toast . Love his style although I could never pull it off myself .... the guy just oozes cool Probably the most consistent best dressed person on Instagram , always in vintage and always looks effortlessly cool

    Conners Sewing Factory

i have made a few posts about CSF in the unknown brands thread but i thought id make a dedicated thread to try and make more people aware of the brand ( if they were not already ) . The founder Yoshiaki Konaka has a real passion for vintage and it really comes through in his work , he has spent quite a while sourcing and repairing old Singer and Union Special machines that were used in the production of LEVIS during the 40's so that he can accurately recreate the stitching and give the feel of a vintage garment here is a great interview with Yoshiaki where he talks about the brand so far he has made a 1946 , 47 and ww2 reproduction , the next release will be the 1941 model ( basically a 37 repro )

  11. ive never been much of a boot man , always go with a comfortable pair of trainers so i thought it would be cool to have a thread to show what trainers / sneakers were wearing . i realise that this could turn into a thread full of the same vans and converse over and over but hopefully we see a bit more of variety first up is my most recent purchase . Converse Star Bars , they are a japan exclusive release and i payed a bit more than i should for a pair of converse but ive always wanted a pair definitely going to get a few more pairs some Converse one stars next up is some vintage Converse from the 1960's , had originally thought they were from the 70's but after a bit of research i was proved wrong and my wardrobe staple , dont think ive been without a pair of these since i was 13
