  1. ive never been much of a boot man , always go with a comfortable pair of trainers so i thought it would be cool to have a thread to show what trainers / sneakers were wearing . i realise that this could turn into a thread full of the same vans and converse over and over but hopefully we see a bit more of variety first up is my most recent purchase . Converse Star Bars , they are a japan exclusive release and i payed a bit more than i should for a pair of converse but ive always wanted a pair definitely going to get a few more pairs some Converse one stars next up is some vintage Converse from the 1960's , had originally thought they were from the 70's but after a bit of research i was proved wrong and my wardrobe staple , dont think ive been without a pair of these since i was 13

i have made a few posts about CSF in the unknown brands thread but i thought id make a dedicated thread to try and make more people aware of the brand ( if they were not already ) . The founder Yoshiaki Konaka has a real passion for vintage and it really comes through in his work , he has spent quite a while sourcing and repairing old Singer and Union Special machines that were used in the production of LEVIS during the 40's so that he can accurately recreate the stitching and give the feel of a vintage garment here is a great interview with Yoshiaki where he talks about the brand so far he has made a 1946 , 47 and ww2 reproduction , the next release will be the 1941 model ( basically a 37 repro )

@silencejoe I've seen this pair before mate and imo there not a 22 , there probably post 27 or there abouts because of the buttons If these were the pair that Jake's pair was based off then there was a few things missed as well . I think Jake's pair was one of the first "22 type" jeans he made ... a bit of a sample pair if you like ???

Only other major mistake I see here is the wrong type of buttons being used .... and possibly they should be all yellow stitching ?? I have no idea why he made these early 22 repros as they just seem to be more of a general pre 36 mash up . I know they have been made again in recent batches but as far as improving the errors I have no idea

45 and 48 are definitely Yoshiaki , I'm really not sure of the rest . The new Westride 37 looks great , I'd like to get one but cant afford anything unnecessary at the moment

The westride stuff is a bit funny with there models , the dates instead of being 46 , 47 ect are all after Harley model years 1948 and so on . Everything pre 1950 is definitely Yoshiaki but there may be a 52 or 53 model that he also makes ( I'm not sure on this last one )

Happy jeans: TCBxSufu S40s WW2 contest thread

If that was post soak they would be pretty much perfect ( if not a little tight ) but I cant see those being comfortable after shrinkage . Just giving my ( possibly unwanted ) opinion here but I hope your happy with them either way Edit ... didn't actually see these are one wash

I'm not sure what your collection consists of now dude but if I were you I wouldn't sell them all ..... far too easy to put a few lbs back on as you get older

No idea what they measure after shrinkage , they have had a few days wear I'm about a 31 these days and these conners are a 33 , the 47 denim shrinks like crazy though and has next to no give in it

Bought a few pieces off yahoo auctions , used zen and they were great , took a little while but what can you expect with the world the way it is Got another colour in the lock hood sweat ( have the navy ) , this grey one is a little different though .... apart from the obvious Nice contrasting overlock stitching on the hood The ribbing is super soft Really liked the other freedom sleeve sweats I got from warehouse so this was a no brainer when I seen the felt lettering Havent got a flannel and it may be a nice change from my usual sweat/chambray getup..... the wife wont even recognize me Nothing special but it's nice and heavy for the colder weather
