  1. this is a (0) post:

about a year ago or so i had my first sleep paralysis. it was during finals week, and i was stressed out as fuck. i can still remember it vividly because it was so fucking scary, and until then i only read about shit like that but never experienced it myself.

anyway, i was sleeping then suddenly i "woke" up, but i couldnt really move at all. it was fucking weird, because i kept feeling like my head is slowly sinking into my pillow. then i look to my right and i saw this little girl about 7-8 years old and she was looking straight at me smiling. then she climbs on top of me and starts choking me with her hands while smiling at the same time. and then i felt as if my body was rotating clockwise on the bed, and then i really woke up. i was so scared and couldnt go back to sleep that night. obviously i dont believe in some supernatural shit, and im sure there is an explanation behind all this ("mental projection" blah blah, although it's creepy that my mental projection is a 7 year old girl). still, it was scary as fuck.

  2. I'm applying to graduate school for English in the fall. Hoping either UCLA or UT Austin. The plan is to be an English professor.

yo i would strongly advise you to reconsider this. i just have way too many friends in humanities graduate programs (mostly eng) who are really regretting the decision. do this if you cannot see yourself doing anything else for a living.

  3. PSN update: Sony isn't sure your credit card data is safe

By Ben Kuchera | Last updated about an hour ago

Sony isn't saying much about the PlayStation Network outage, but a new update doesn't give us much hope for a speedy resolution. Even worse is the fact the company doesn't seem to know if your financial data has been compromised. Sleep tight!

Satoshi Fukuoka, a spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment in Tokyo, spoke with PCWorld and claimed the company "has not yet determined if the personal information or credit card numbers of users have been compromised, but that Sony would promptly inform users if it found that was the case."

Luckily, Sony's Patrick Seybold has yet another update to let us all know that Sony doesn't have much of a clue about when this mess will get fixed. "Unfortunately, I don't have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time," he wrote. "As we previously noted, this is a time intensive process and we're working to get them back online quickly. Will keep you updated with information as it becomes available. We once again thank you for your patience."

Since you can't play your games online, why not use that extra time to double-check your credit and debit card records?

    shitttt
