  1. FUCK

HOW CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE MOST BASIC SHIT

if its in a section about drawing

just replace people with drawings of people

and clothes with drawings of clothes

so if you draw a mannequin with stupidly long legs it doesn't matter if the clothes suck

which is why you have to get proportions right

how could anybody be as dumb as you and not be aware of it

    please just stop posting

You have terrible english, I had to re-read that a few times. After reading the passage I posted a bit more I understand what was possibly implied. Though it was worded badly and blatantly biased towards the author's opinion, making it seem less like an observation.

"what looks good on a figure that has too-long legs won't necessarily look good on a real person. Although anything looks good on someone with long legs, which is why long legs work well on the catwalk."

would have made a lot more sense written as..

"what looks good on a figure that has too long legs won't necessarily look good on a real person. Anything can look good on somebody with long legs, so such an error in your proportions may unrealistically flatter your design, this is why models with long legs work well on the cat walk."

  2. is this really that hard to understand

people with long legs look good wearing anything

    god damn you're stupid

You're retarded, within this section devoted to drawing, this statement was random, out of place, irrelevant to the topic that was being talked about. It was like a girl telling a topical story and getting caught up in a certain detail (like the shoes she was wearing) and going off topic. This made me wtf, as the book was "fairly structured, unbiased, somewhat professional" and about the "fundamentals of fashion design".

  3. Whilst reading a fairly structured, unbiased, somewhat professional book about the fundamentals of fashion design (that is the actual title of the book), I come across this oddity..

    Re: drawing

"If the proportions of your drawing are too abnormal, this will follow through to the proportions of your designs; what looks good on a figure that has too-long legs won't necessarily look good on a real person. Although anything looks good on someone with long legs, which is why long legs work well on the catwalk."

    wtf?

  4. I was going to buy this if I had the cash, but unfortunately I do not (it's not expensive but I'm not employed). Not sure if its anyones cup of tea but the leather's quite good and the shape is slightly more elegant than what these things normally look like.

  5. I've just been taking aropax, was on aropax (paroxetine) 20mg for about 4 years.

currently withdrawing, taking 20mg every second day, then stopping.

should I take 10mg a day instead? Would have to cut the pill though, which would be a pain.

Feeling a bit weird, not myself (or the self I'm used to), having memories of being clean of anything, starting to get a bit of anxiety through the nights but I'm dealing with it.

Probably sound like a pussy but I'll be taking it again as per normal if I get anxiety attacks like I used to years ago, I was fucking crying every other night for no reason thinking I was gonna die, shit isn't fun, it's a chemical imbalance, seretonin etc. genetically from my mum, trying to overcome it though.

  6. Really can't go wrong with indies in my opinion, the stitching reminds me of traditional red wings (which is one of the things I like about them). The indies have much better leather and they can be dressed up if need be, more versatile in my opinion. As always, you get what you pay for.

  7. I wasn't going to say anything, but this is pissing me off a little.

    Sufu culture? What the fuck?

I hope you're not insinuating it doesn't follow the goth ninja/work wear/asian brand #34 commonalities of this forum. I've seen plenty of stuff posted here that doesn't follow this at all, such as Gucci, burberry, even D&G. Sartorialist is also quoted frequently on superfuture, to not the bat of an eyelid. I'm fairly certain superfuture is open to the idea of diversity and appreciates more than the 'popular' brands.

Either you two are holding me to a double standard or you lack the mental capacity to accept anything that doesn't mesh with your close-minded ideals of fashion. Feel free to claim otherwise though, I'll be curious to hear it.
