On the hunt for a new pair of jeans and want to try out SC 1947s this time round.  Would you say they are faster fading or slow fading?

More so for ns in size 26.  Any condition is fine as long as they arent hemmed too short (< 30 inseam)

Maybe the bigger sizes fit more true to size or you can get away with going for a larger size or something because from what I have seen in other threads regarding CP (even just by flicking back a bunch of pages), up to of size 10 according to my chart seems to be pretty 99.9% accurate for what people generally wear

ie

-7us are size 39 in CP

-8us from what i have seen always buy a size 40 in CP, they always seem to make a rookie mistake of buying a size 41 first and realize it is too big (this is my personal benchmark for sizing because whenever i see size 8 folks discuss shoes I always get 1 smaller to what they get and it always works out for me)

-9us wearers are a 41 in CP

-9.5us- 0us wear 42 in CP

Then you see the ones who buy one size bigger to what i listed in this very post and try to convince themselves that its a perfect fit (by saying stuff like, "Im a size 7US and got a 40, fit a bit long but they are PERFECT when i wear thick socks") and confuse everyone further. I know I tried to convince myself when I got my first CP shoes in size 40 that they were a great fit just to convince myself i didnt waste my money lol.

And I know what you mean about sizing differently for different styles, IMO you really should be the same size for all the CP shoes. I am a 39 in all of the CPs I have tried, the time I deviated from a 39 and tried on a 40 they definitely felt too big for me.

I thought I would make a table and instructions on how to use said table.

I consider my feet to be normal width, I wear a size 7us (or a size 40 Euro or a size 6uk) in most of my sneakers and consider myself to be a size 7us, In CP i bought a size 39 which to me fit like my dream/perfect 7us shoe.

I have tried a size 40 before and it felt too big and what size 8us shoes generally feel like to me (as in they feel loose and long on me).

Has anyone had experience with APC Cures (ie. old cures)? (not to be confused with new cures)

Reckon I should jsut stick with a size 26 if I were to get the cures?

I terms of sizing with my current jeans I think I couldve sized down to a 25 with the NC but PS in a 25 are too tight and with NS i can fit either a 25 or 24

Im planning on going back to school next year and I am on the hunt for a macbook (my first one)

Reading reviews I am eaning more towards the Macbook Air 13inch 2012

Good choice? Should the i5/4GB/128GB base model suffice for the next few years of school or should I bump up the RAM or even go for the higher model with the 256 SSD?

What config should I go? Ill mainly be using it for browsing/school stuff/apps and maybe photo storage/light-tweaking or even a game or two

So far I already have a portable harddrive with my movies/TV shows which takes up the main bulk of my storage and I have a gaming PC too. On top of that I also have an iPod classic which I guess i could connect to the MBA if I wanted to listen to music

Should I just go for the base model or will I just end up regretting it? OR even still should I just go for the Macbook Pro?

For those who have exp with the Rush 12, do you know if a 13 inch Macbook Pro or air can fit into the hydropack?

Ive been craving a pair of indigo PS but really cant justify it and i hate the look of new jeans (which is why i went back from my NS to NC)

Also to add, for those who are curious to how APC's compare to dior in terms of cut, i would say that the closest fit to my size 26 dior homme 19cm's would be my size 26 APC PS.

Everyone compares New cures to 19cm but I honestly find new cures to be a lot more looser. Maybe a size 25 New cure could be more comparable to a size 26 Dior. I dunno.

benkenobi thats weird as. My size 26 Dior hommes are perfect fitting on me and was never that tight, if anything they are probably a bit too loose (well they hang slouchy) in the waist. But at the same time I just couldnt wear a size 25 in APC PS's cos they are soo tight in the leg knee down (mine are size 26)

Also I might buy them off you depending on the price lol

how do you guys lace your achilles? Or which lacing style allows the shoe to retain the best shape

whats everyones opinion on the arkiv field packs. They look pretty darn cool to me. Are they practical for university (ie holding books pens, laptops etc) and worth the price?

Not sure if I should build my own bag (having a seperate compartment for my drink bottle and camera would be great) plus addons are always fun. Anyone know if the main bag itself has a laptop compartment because I dont really care for a detachable addon compartment for just the laptop if it already has one in the main pack. Also in one of the pics he is grabbing stuff out of the roll out part. is that just extra storage or is the main access through the roll out and doesnt have a zippered slot

or if i should go for the rambler. The roll top looks cool and could hold a medium sided umbrella. and looks like it has a main zippered compartment which seems more practical plus an extra zippered extra front pocket for a laptop
