finally got around to posting final pic's.  great contest.  didn't get around to wearing these as often as i would have liked.  one thing that bothered me with these (and no fault of the jeans) was 1. I got them hemmed a little too short.  would have liked another inch on the hem and 2. the waist was a little too tight, again could have used another inch (due to beer gut) again, no fault of the jeans. 

pretty rad contest all in all and if there's ever a 60's contest, I'd def be down for that!

Ahh, this is sweeeeeet Paul T!  Mondo post a pic of the strat and TCB's.  Would love to see that!  I'm very sorry I missed the deadline, I've been out of town the past few days.  i'll post tomorrow.  I didn't have a chance in hell on winning anyway but it's been fun.  Congrats VOLVO!!!

I've been aware of this detail for some time yet I can't recall if I've ever seen this kind of wonky stitching on any vintage jeans, either in person or online.  Does anyone have pic's that show this?

i'll echo what BrownMetallic and Cold Summer said, but I'll add this-  Some of my grail pairs are 4+ years old.  My body just isn't the same. That and I do believe that jeans (after washing) continually shrink.  Some stretch out a little more than others but for the most part there is some level of shrinkage.  personally, i tend to stick to one or two pairs at a time, but I do like to throw on the beat/grail pair on weekends. (nobody notices)  just can't wear them like that to work anymore.

thanks for everyone's comments.  i took Maynard's advice and gave the camera a wash to get rid of the RAW function. took some outside in shade today.  last night was under fluorescent light.  think the color looks a little more accurate.  I'll check out flicker.  PB has been painfully slow uploading and editing pic's for awhile..

for a variety of reasons, i can't stand using photobucket anymore. can someone suggest a better site to host pic's. also, i borrowed a 7D to take these pic's tonight.  unknowing to me, it was set up to shoot RAW format which was a pain cause i had to use a converter to upload to PB.  I'd like to post the highest quality pic's, so if someone can enlighten me on how to, please pm me.  i'll take some more in better light tomorrow.  thanks ya'll

still wear mine at least once a week.  prefer the fit of these over the TCB's 50's contest.  they did a great job with these, i'm glad i grabbed these when they came out.  i'll try to get some pic's posted this week for you

Ah Long, those are ridiculous! you don't have to wear them another day and will prob win best fades.  what kind of wallet do you have that produces that fade mark? also, your pair looks like the leg has a slight taper similar to the Devi's contest pair.  is that just the angle of the picture?  

everything posted on this page is amazing!  Bobbo, in terms of color, your pic's capture what mine look like perfectly.  i've been trying to take some pic's recently and i just can't get the color right.  also, what Jared said is spot on!  I prefer the fit of my Devis contest over the 50's, but the denim is just starting to reveal itself like mentioned, so I can't wait to see more from everyone.
