For me, I like the waist of my jeans to be around 33.5-34" right out the wash and stretch to around 36" to be comfortable and loose. I take a 34 in the 66's and 36 in the 47's (I find the waist to run smaller on these hence sizing up the tagged size.)

Paris, Texas is a top 5 film for me. 

The 50’s cut is really the only cut that appeals to me. I thought the last contest jeans were cool but that front rise is kind of comically long. Would be cool to do the 50’s cut with like the 30’s denim or even the 60’s. 

Does anyone have a pair of the 50's in 36 mind sharing some measurements? TCB has always been a mystery to me. Are they really that undersized in the waist? How does the fabric stretch out?

@reallypeacedoff You’ve been on a roll! We’re pretty much the same size and you’ve purchased all the pairs of jeans I’ve had my eyes on while on your trip. I’ve been living vicariously through you.

The denim on the '46 Duck Digger looks so goooood

Got my new pair of 47’s (appropriately sized for once) and just absolutely loving them. They really are the best jeans for the price point. 

Wow, this is cool and very frightening. 

Been loving the Rockets stuff the more and more I see it. I might have to swap out the Buzz Rickson’s WWII pair I recently bought for these since the BR’s are not as comfortable as I would like. 

47 pockets are small and shallow
