Bit of a stretch, but is anyone know where I can find a Flat Head leather coaster? Been looking for a pair, but I can deal with just one if I can find one at all.

If you are willing to deal with somewhat of a dated camera, the Canon 5D classic is amazing. I recently picked one up for $550... possibly the cheapest full frame camera available right now
$550?? If you can find another at that price, lmk. I'm a buyer all day at that price. The best I've seen thus far have been ~$700 and that's for bodies that have seen better days.

If you've got the patience, I'd say wait a month or two. Even then, I see the update retailing for at least $1500, would that be in your budget?

I think you made the right choice. Better shooting interface, more features overall.

Did you adjust the exposure at all for the eyes in the second shot? Love that glow. Think the third pic could've benefit from some as well

^ great post! especially like the 2nd pic.
Yo dawg, heard you liked centered subjects with shallow depth of field so I took a picture....

Humble Bundle was already a steal, but they just added Braid, Super Meat Boy, and Lone Survivor. This has easily been the best one yet.

My brother is a clipps fan, so I watch their games quite a bit. I'd say it balances out cuz he gets called for petty shit all the time. Not defending those two gasol though, first was an over-the-back and the second was definitely an offensive foul, much less an and-1 call.

Lower angles are generally better for food shots. Chair isn't too bad, a crop would've been good.

ayo... where it at? hawkins house in compton?
Looks like 5 Guys to me. Peep fries in cup back-left. Hawkins has them big wedges.

Hey Zeen,
I was poking about on eMusic and happened upon this. It is strangely reminiscent of your work.
I've seen his lighting setup and the diffuser via the reflection in the spider's eyes is definitely similar.

Sigma 17-70 is another good one. tamron 17-50 would be better crop-wise over the 28-75.

Yeah, if you've got the patience, definitely hold out for the holidays and shit'll get bundled and you'll see price cuts on a few titles. my case was more of an impulsive buy.

I picked up one of these for my brother for his birthday and he was able to buy Wipeout, Uncharted, UMVC3, and Dynasty Warriors. The best part of the device is definitely the screen. It's big, it's bright, it's vibrant. I was pretty blown away at how strong the graphics are and how smoothly game run. The handling is pretty good - The buttons are nice and clicky compared to the mushier ones on the PSP (which I prefer). The size is a bit big, but the ergonomics seem right.
As for cons, the first one is that the camera pretty much sucks. It's on par with the 3DS detail-wise and, even worse, shots always seem washed out. The battery is meh, I usually get ~4hrs per charge. Another thing I don't care for is the way that some games and even through some of the native home menus kinda force you to use the touch screen instead of using the physical controls. For example on Uncharted, tutorial windows or prompts would open up mid-play and instead of having the option to hit X or O to continue on to the next page or close the window, you'd have move over and hit a button on the screen. The biggest gripe I have is that you have multiple PSN users sharing a device, you'd each have to have your own memory card and go through a huge loop of factory resetting to log in to your account. I hope that they'll release a firmware update to fix this, but they're probably banking that people will get inconvenienced to the point that they'd just buy their own systems.
Overally tho, I really like it. The games are fun and it performs better than I had anticipated.

Racing sim looks good physics-wise. textures and rendering seem lackluster tho.

I don't find that there is much difference whatsoever between having a polished finish versus the more modern coarse one aside from aesthetics. I received my first vintage polished skillet about a year back when turned 21 from my grandma who had been using it for over 70+ years. Compared to the more modern skillet, wok, griddle, and dutch oven that I'd been using for the past 6 years, they all perform in the same way.

I have 1-3, but having searched and found that the cheapest price on this one is ~$170, I going to have to wait.

And they STILL had to win in overtime. GG Denver.

"Mean Joe Green" from MVP's Grill
Chana masala
Soyrizo tacos
Tofu, vegetables w/ fried rice noodle
My vegan-friendly Super Bowl contributions:
Onion rings with homemade ketchup
Vegetable gyoza
Only thing that wasn't homemade (minus the sauce). I only have faux meat maybe once a month, but I HAD to get my buffalo wing fix. Tried a couple different brands to see what was good.
Non-vegan shenanigans that I recommended to my brother

Poking through to check in and say that I've been incredibly busy the past few months. Should have some awesome progress pics for both me and brother *hopefully* by the end of next week.
