Yeah, they have A1923, Damir main line, In Aisce, Julius, V-A, DBSS, drkshdw, obscur... they have just about every label ever discussed on SZ. And granted, it's good to have access to the stuff in Sydney, but the reviews have mainly been regarding the physical store. The other issue is that they only carry small sizes i.e. normally < 48
Oh, and there is still 40% off Filippa K at DJs.
Also, anyone have any recommendations for knit repairs?

You missed a solid sale at DJs a week or so back. Filippa K was dirt cheap - 50% off. Even at full price I think their plain buttons downs are worth the money.
I orders a couple of made-to-measure shirts from InStitchu last night, worked out to be $50 a shirt. They didn't have much in the way of fabric choices (for my taste anyway), but plenty of plain white fabrics. I'll let you know how they work out.

That's not a pop-up, that's their actual store. They moved into that location a while ago.
It's a nice location and could be a nice space, but I don't think retail fit-outs are their strong suit.

Anyone been to Ms G's? What's it like?

Saw someone in Chatswood on Saturday wearing Julius and Guidi. Anyone from here?

Sorry guys, I was talking shirts. Suits are like $850.

^ I'm also 6'3", found +j too short.
Maybe Filippa K would work. Their suits are cut nice and long through the arms. And at <$200 they are almost reasonable

how tall are you ivans? i'm 6'1 and find them fine in jp XL if they are slim fit and jp L if they are regular.
The length hasnt changed much on the latter seasons, only the sleeves seem to have gotten longer.
I'm 6'3. That extra 2 inches makes all the difference. Or so I'm told.
Good to hear the sleeves are slightly longer. Might have to order a few and see how they go.

All the J+ stuff I tried on was cut way too short for me. Admittedly, it was over a year ago so things might have changed since then.

What's your price range? Are you lanky?
I wouldn't want to spend more than $250, I guess. And yeah, pretty lanky.

I ate at Charlie and Co. the other night. Had the Wagyu burger and the truffle and parmesan fries. It was OK, I guess. Nothing outstanding.
Best burger I've ever had was in St Paul in Paris. It was some next level shit. Whoever made the pattie and cooked it had definitely been watching Heston Blumenthal.

I was thinking of doing the same thing (my wife, not your gf). Glad to hear it met expectations.
