To any an all whom are unnecessarily shitting up the thread:

I usually hand wash for the first couple of months to a year...

Then I get lazy / really want to clean them out so I do a machine wash. Usually shrink difference is minimal, it just takes longer for them to stretch back out.

I just soak and hang dry, but I believe using a washing machine and a dryer do a better job.

But only slightly.

Like Panda, I will be doing a lot of traveling too, thus the reason I thought it would be cool to join the contest (first one for me) as come Nov 02, I will be off to Central and South America for 6 months until Coachella 2011. Then a summer in Whistler, Canada. Again from November 02 to Coachella 2012, I will be exploring the Mediterranean and finally back to Whistler, then back home to Australia by the time 12/12/12 rolls around, probably.

Word. By the time these Eternals are done, so will my research.

You guys should come to LA once I'm done to see it in action, haha.

I sized up 1 with my XX-011 raw -- I'm a true 31 and went with a 32 -- but I'm pretty sure the norm is to go true to size with these. I just happen to have big calves; a true-to-size, post-soak XX-011 would've squeezed the life out of me below the knees.

I'm not really into the super-skinny look, anyway, so I'm happy with the fit.

I got my xx-011s sized down 2. It was really tight at first and my calves are almost skin tight but it's stretched out now and fits fine, depends how skinny you want it really.

I have small calves though I think...

Which pair would you guys recommend for a skinny fit, 007 or 011, which pair has a better fit and a sicker color.

xx-011s definitely have a better color, and also a skinnier fit. They'll stretch out a lot, you just need to be patient.
