There are two fits... a late 40's style straight leg and a straight tapered fit. We've been wearing both around the shops and the fits came out perfectly on the production run.
higher rise on these bad boys?

Production run is done, we'll have some photos shot of them in a couple of weeks once the initial pairs arrive!
We have been April fooled
still looking forward to seeing what they look like. When I was a brand new kid to the game I loved Imperial’s arcs
is this a slim straight fit? I like leg openings in the 7” to 7.25” range

Loose-ish. I had a pair of indigo/black 1110s that ended up being a little too big in the waist after stretch. It doesn't feel as loose weave as their standard 13.5oz denim, though.
Oo down by 2 it is then

Is Full Count's Super Rough Slub fabric loosely or tightly woven?

Were the original jeans worn by goldminers and made by Levi’s slubby?

Natural, unbleached cotton is my guess.

Looking forward to seeing what makes them different!

yep heard the founder/s retired to pursue a career in law
if final, this release should be extra special.

They'll be 14oz, Texas cotton fiber, unsanforized but very lightly rinsed, indigoXnatural.
Natural as in both the weft and warp will be dyed with natural indigo?
so a bluexblue jean

We're aiming for a spring 2023 release and there'll be two fits. The slim one will go up to 36 and the straight leg classic fit one will go up to 38.
What colors will these guys be? Just the standard indigo warp x white/grey/beige weft?
love imperial’s wing design for the back pockets

how does the end look differ once both have faded?

Who came up with black jeans and made them a thing
I’m azzuming those jeans we see on laborers in vintage black & white photos are indigo
and that black jeans came later

^Wear a belt to keep 'em up. Else you probably have to live with the fit, as it is, as your body moves over the course of the day, so will your pants as they stretch out and mold to you.
Point taken. I currently don’t use belts

Even when sized correctly [waist stretch an inch with wear] my jeans will go closer to my hips throughout the day
this natural sag results in diaper butt
I run religiously and have an ectomorph physique. Lean with an Asian booty
Can diaper butt be eliminated in the future with higher rise jeans?

Update I have the jeans now
I’m happy with the starting waist measurement. Half an inch less than what I was told
this should allow for the standard 1 inch stretch.
thank you all for the help!

That fabric is a relatively low tension fabric. Like duke mantee said though, the fabric is just one aspect of it. How it fits on you, where it sits on your body, what you do in them will all impact stretch.
I see I see. I’m not used to low tension black denim
will try these jeans on myself to see if I like the starting waist measurement
thanks for all the help everybody!

Depends what fabric you’re talking about! many of their fabrics are not that tightly woven so you will experience a decent amount of stretch. TBH most jeans will stretch in the waist more than half an inch if there’s pressure on it which generally happens when you’re sitting, bending over, moving around, etc. From what I’ve found, the best way to limit stretch is if you wear a belt or if you buy it kind of loose to begin with.
Super black fade to grey sbg fabric
how to tell if a fabric is tightly or loosely woven?

Are you asking if (iron heart = any) jeans will stretch a ½inch in the waist? Then that’s almost a definite yes.
Or are you asking if you can limit the stretch to a ½inch? That depends entirely on your actual gut and usage of said jeans.
yes exactly limit the stretch to only half an inch. I'm low body fat without a gut and at most lightly walk in my jeans
I was thinking IH don't stretch as much due to the tight weave & thicker denim.
