I have a brown duck jacket that I wear most days, and a little bit of the blue has abraded onto the fabric, but for the most most part, that bag doesn't bleed at all

...that'd be sweet...
thanks for the info, Sir...
Giles said he's only got a size 36 and a 38 in stock, the 40 I have is the last one he had...and no restock since the material is no longer available.
Sorry dude

thanks for the info, Doug...
...is that a medium?
I'd check with Giles, I think it's a large...
I'll try to take some fit pics this weekend weather permitting

...this jacket is absolutely ridiculous...
may be visitnig the FH UK site shortly...
Doug - how's the sizing on this? I'm probably a 41.5 - 42 chest in most shirts / jackets...
I have about a 41 inch chest, and I wear a size 40 and it's fitted.
I love this jacket, it goes with nearly everything, business casual to just jeans and sneakers

My FH Type II jacket has seen the Alps of Switzerland, the subways of NY, the inside of a peanut butter factory, and the underside of my head when I used it for a pillow drunk off my ass in DC after the National Air Guitar Finals
Damn thing is still completely blue...

not jeans, but a shirt...
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/html/IHSH-07.html
is it blue with white stripe or white with blue stripe?
I have that shirt...
Don't know if I understand the question, but the stripes are dyed into the threads, not a print on the surface. If you flip the shirt inside out, it's striped on the back side as well. It's not like the FH wabash shirt where it's a blue shirt with white stripes printed on it
So it's blue stripes with white stripes if that makes sense...

dougng,
So I was moved by your flicks and put in an order for the messenger bag. Thanks for helping to contribute to my demise.
Anytime. I love the bag. Very comfortable for everyday use, and I walk around NYC with my bag for work quite a bit
As far as tanking your your budget, you didn't see this yet
Giles says this is the only one in the States...about a month of on and off wear, depending on the weather
Got it the same time as the bag. Stiff as hell, accidentally slapped my coworker with it putting it on the other day and he said it was like getting hit in the face with a tennis raquet. Whatever, he's an asshole anyway

I have been thinking about both. Can't decide on which size of the duffel though. Have the largest and the smallest of the North Face duffel bags and am thinking about one of the middle sizes. Is there a pocket along the back? Possibly big enough for a 12" laptop? Also, how is the fading/ wear going? Can you throw some pictures up for us?
Like I said, not a whole lot of fading
I'd check with Giles and see if he has any left. He told me he got two in and one is mine...

No pocket along the back...the main compartment is huge though...I'm sure I could fit my ThinkPad in there
There's two small pockets inside, one on top of the other
There is little/no fading...the slightest bit of color loss has been on the bottom corners...typical of the IH blue selvedge denim...it's only been a month

I don't have the black duffel, but I have the blue selvedge messenger bag and I love it. Been using it nearly every day for almost a month now, very sturdy and well built

Don't know if this qualifies as a jean jacket, but I just got this a couple weeks ago

When I ordered mine from Giles, I was told that they run more relaxed than other IH shirts so you can layer. I wear a 42 in FH and L in IH and my large Ultra Heavy flannel works just fine with a thick tshirt underneath
