Anyone here using Untappd? I have a bad memory for names so I'm finding it useful.

dismalfuture's posts just did crazy things to my head. i don't even know how to explain what happened. it was like i saw the future and the past all at once with perfect comprehension. there were just...too many stars

this is basically what others are saying, but: you don't walk around with your clothes on hangers, you walk around with them on your body. great items still look bad if they don't work with your body type (hard truth i struggle to keep in mind for myself), and average things can look amazing on someone who fits them perfectly or who has great natural proportions.
being a great dresser is just as much about picking the right things for you as it is about having taste in individual pieces, or knowing how to put them together. your body is a huge part of your fit, and while it's not helpful to hate on people for their physique, it is reasonable to observe that the clothes do or do not work well with the body in question.
i will later regret this post when everyone finds out i am a short girl who tries to dress like a tall lady.

Going to Hood River this weekend, should we stop at Full Sail or Double Mountain? I've had more Full Sail but both spots sound nice

I don't know how any men are wearing the WM socks. I'm a girl with a men's size 5 foot and after a few washes they are snug indeed.
i love them though.

Went to Bear Republic while driving through Healdsburg, none of their special offerings did anything for me but I always like their standards.
Also picked up some Leffe Brune recently, but I've been on an all-IPA diet so I don't have anything intelligent to say about it.

^been a while since I did it, but I believe you locate the sound file name on your computer and change it, so the app can't find it. it's silly that it's not just a simple option in the settings.

^you know you can turn the sound off, right?
I take pics of my food if it looks good (which to me means it looks like it tastes good, not that it's been meticulously sculpted) or if it's delicious, because I like to remember (maybe corny, don't care). Usually use my phone but if I have a camera with me because I've been walking around with it, I'll use that.
I almost never take photos at very nice places because a) if the restaurant is really good, then the experience is more than just the food and I don't want to interrupt it, and sometimes it's dark.
Not to waste a post on dumb words:
Fondue-bread pudding inside a pumpkin for Halloween.

I'm drinking a Stone Double Bastard because the bottle's graphic was the most Halloween-appropriate of my options. Considered a Rogue Dead Guy but the rainbow background threw it off.
I am also eating fondue out of a roasted pumpkin.
bye

some place in Eagle Rock. Normally I get snobby about "authentic" Mexican food even though I'm a white girl and have no idea what I'm talking about, but this was awesome, period. Duck confit, boar, fried avocado, fish something, duck chicharones, crazy corn.
Nobu, didn't take any pics during the meal but you know, birthday once a year...bananas foster green tea crepe is so good. also rob reiner was there. laff.

Yes! He waits for us at the door when we come home and is learning to play fetch with his mouse. As a breed I think they generally are supposed to have friendly, fun-loving dispositions. Best cat I've ever had for sure.
