this fucking obstacle course constructed of a cooler and a tin tub my roommate has set on the inside of our wooden gate to prevent the puppy from getting out of the cracks. I have to climb over that shit every time I leave and enter the house... with a bike on my shoulder. the puppy usually still gets out.

Austin has a pretty large and delicious coffee scene. I work at a small shop downtown, but we use Cuvee roasters... and in general have really delicious espresso. we also serve gelato. recently, the combination of both (gelato y espresso) has been my caffeine consumption of choice. anybody here have an affogato before? will post pour pics soon. also, we have a pour over bar for our drip coffee. it reminds me of french pressing, but it a little fresher and tastier.

I just started werkin for American Apparel, and I seriously love it. I thought that it would be your average retail job with lackluster, airhead co-workers and snobby, micro-managerial higher ups... but the store I work in is so relaxed, and everyone I work with has a motivated life outside of retail. I wish I weren't so shocked, but the discount has really come in handy-and my respect for the brand is continually growing...

I agree that there are so many complex reasons that go into the decisions that he has made. but please read again, 3 children... 31 years. his wife is not only devastated but also willing to take him back. she has been sincere all of this time. she has been a wonderful mother and wife. of course there are faults, but she wants this to work. they just recently became empty nesters again... you know? they got married 6 months after dating... how can he not even think that there is some building needing to be done? just caught up in the thrill of the new-old feelings? he has been a distant but respectable father. this is so hard

right, but he did. I'm referring to how the 31 years spent with his wife didn't even come to mind before he made an ass of himself.

how 31 years of marriage means nothing in the eyes of a man about to commit adultery. as much as I understand the excitement of being found attractive and the freshness of flirtation... I do not and will not ever understand or sympathize with anyone that does not have the gall or respect levels to broach the topic of moving on with their lives versus sneaking around behind their faithful partner's back. 31 years, 3 kids, 4 animals, and you can't even make the mature decision to be upfront. haha. yes. I'm diligent and thorough with the hand washing. plus, we wear gloves a lot as well. the health department comes around pretty often, and most of them are very very strict.

I love being a baker, and I don't mind the crazy hours-but the person who makes the schedule hasn't been putting it out until Tuesday, and is also failing to let anyone who works on Monday, know so. so I guess I hate that guy. he's stressing me out

edit: also, there have been 3 cycling related deaths reported in Austin this week. I really hate that, too
