  1. Well... a little trouble here.

My dad's still rejecting this, saying he's not going to allow me to buy $200 Japanese Levi's ripoffs.

    wat

Levi's ripoffs? More like Levi's upgrades if anything!

Oh well. I told him I'm not going to give up on this, and I'm going to argue my point as long as I need to.

  2. Remember me from a few weeks ago? Yesterday, I sent the email to my dad (because I don't have a credit card to buy this stuff on my own : /) and just as expected, he wasn't too happy about it.

Well, I wrote him a big defense email.

    I knew you'd say that...

For months, I've been researching different brands and types of dry denim jeans, looking at measurements, the quality of the denim, stiffness, and other things such as if they are selvage. A while back, I saw these and liked everything, from the fit, to the texture, to the color, and the pretty much indestructible quality of the denim.

Well, there's on thing I don't like: The price.

Anyway, I believe these jeans are worth it. The denim is very stiff and thick, meaning they will last a long, long, long time. They're even stiff enough to stand up on their own. Also, you know how my wallet ate the back pocket of my Levi's, right? That won't happen with these, because they won't rip very easily.

I compared measurements with my Levi's to find a good fit for me, and also left some space for me to grow into.

And best of all, they will fade very nicely. That's the point, really. Very durable jeans that will form to your body over time and fade to reveal who you are. A once-of-a-kind pair of jeans made just for you.

    Now, for some examples.

Here's a pair that's brand new and barely worn:

Here's a pair that's been worn for ten and a half months:

I hope that this will convince you just enough to let me buy these, but I'm not insane, and I'm not Paris Hilton.

    You know that.

I really hope this does it, and if it does, you guy should be seeing me again soon.

  3. Since it seems like there's a Levi's streak going, so I'll contribute with my 511's. I've been wearing them since December 1st, so that's a little more than six months. I took maybe a week and a half or so combined days not wearing them, so you can take that off. I've done two warm soaks, one with me wearing them, and I just washed them last night.

Wow. Just one day of wear and they're already pretty brown again. Just goes to show how dusty it is here.

  4. I have pretty muscular thighs from running, biking, and swimming, and my size 29 Levi's 511's fit me well, so I'll just go up 1 to account for growing and I should be perfect.

  5. I'm very confident about a size 30, because I usually buy 29's and they stretch out, so a 30 should help with the tightness of the thighs.

Well, the problem is that my dad is the one in charge of all the orders, so I can't really do anything on my own. But I doubt I'll have that much trouble; I just need some good convincing.

Besides, when I go into high school next year, I'm going to be the snazziest guy around.

  6. Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll try it out and see how well this goes.

If everything's as planned, I'll see you guys back here in about a month with some fit pics. :D

    wtf@14. isn't that 8th grade?

Yeah. Which gives me another idea, since I'm graduating.

"I'M A MAN NOW, AND A MAN HAS TO HAVE HIS PANTS."

  7. I've been considering buying a pair of XX-05's off BiG for a while.

But this isn't going to be easy. I'm only 14, and my dad's in the way. I made the whole $225 I need for the purchase, and I've done my research to find the perfect size, and I know all I need to know. And I know once I show them to him, he's going to think I'm insane andkeep me from buying them. Hell, I had trouble buying $50 Levi's 511 Rigid with him. : /

Do you guys think you could help me out a bit and give me reasons for why they are worth the price?
