  1. I've never taken anything I hear as 100% gospel, but its unprecedented for a brand to make an entirely new shoe with Nike and then have total ownership of the model. Not saying it couldnt happen, just seems unlikely.

Supreme has been the beta-test for new SB models that eventually see a wide release in more basic colorways. I dont see why this would be any different, regardless of James Jebbia's PR story in honeyee about them or the fact that they followed trend and kept it simple out of the gate.

  2. Words on the e-street is that these are gonig to become an inline shoe for Nike SB.

Not sure if this changes anyones opinion/perspective on quality but there will be more colors, potentially at a lower price.

    Could be lies and propaganda.

  3. Re: Tote Bag. I have it. It feels kinda brushed and thick if that makes sense. Could probably hold some books and a bottle of water to give you some perspective. Screen print is pretty terrible. I gave away.

I buy these things every year and basically it's $20 for a bunch of streetwear porn, less than insightful articles, and product offering that I have already seen by the time of release.

This years does feature Dree Hemingway with her titties out.

    So there is that.

  4. /\ what jeans would you compare the fit to? I want to pull the trigger but they look a little more relaxed than what id sport

i would say close to a Levis 514 Slim Straight if you're familiar with that jean.

  6. Haven't the chinos w/ reinforced seat always been called 'mil-spec' while being removed for the ones without reinforced seat?

And yeah, thank you for the list!

I believe so. reinforced always were milspec. Last season, sans enforcement, was just called Chino Pant.

We should stop talking about chinos now.

  7. not sure when they decided to switch, but at a certain point they switched to non-reinforced ass chinos (fall 2008??). They stayed the same price ($110) as the reinforced model. Now in 2010 they are back with reinforced ass, $20 more and calling them Mil-Spec. Maybe they are now making seasonal chinos. I dunno. I'm out of my league here.

Rhythm&sound can probably explain this better.

  8. mikey dubz is a solid gold GOD! The mere mention of his name and his Incessant Slant are sure to insight passion in woman and envy in men

    Went to the store.

    -All tees were there.

-Cliver tee is $36 and worth it

-Denim shirt is appropriately heavy and $118. I will say that the sleeve length is a lil long. not terrible but not normal.

-had hombre and multi plaid flannels. also $118

-BDU jkt for $258. Its the weight of the field jackets more or less. not light at all good weight for fall. 90% certain it had the alpha tag.

    -varsity jkt is $388. heavy.

-pocket tees were out. Solid and another one. $60

-rip stop cap was completely gone. seems to be the item this go round

-argyl, fine gauge and stripe beanies

-roses, shit, box logo new era, tartin camp, tweed metal, tweed cabbie, roses cord were there for hats. standard pricing for all

-hockey jersey is very much a jersey (as opposed to hennessy top of past) and somewhere around $120.

-chinos, work pant, jeans were out. It is now apparent that they are making a distinction between the mil-spec chino and the standard chino. Mil-spec is heavier than a pair of the standard chinos from last fall. They are what was once the standard before they lost the reinforced ass. Also priced at $130 which is higher than normal or at least last fall/this spring.

-quilted wax work jkt was there. i didnt look at it.

-striped sweaters and henley were there. also didnt bother.

-SUPNY, Small Box logo, Collegiate Crew and maybe another were out for fleece.

feel free to correct me if i missed anything

  9. ^I own, but it was made by a brit and all those countries that use "duck camo" aren't up to american snuff. Plus Mikey Willy is an americana/workwear/prep/notintothingsthatarentserious/imbigontheinternet GOD.

    So basically that book sucks.
