So they started the same size as the contest jeans?

I don't understand the sizing. These seem a lot smaller than my contest jeans after they shrank 2 inches.

Well I went back to the retailer today on my Alden's and he assured me that he had someone that could restitch them. I thought they might be an easy repair and he seemed to think so. I'll drop them off next week and hope for the best.

G&G just outskilled me so hard on their contributions I dunno what I will be able to post next.

Anyone experienced an issue like this on Alden?

I just got these today and didn't notice that imperfection until I got home. They are a b-width shoe so replacing them would be a pretty long wait :/

It seems like an interesting cut with cool details. Too bad the waist only goes down to a 32 at minimum though.

It's STF.. but that only takes it to 31"

It's a great jean.. I have it on my list when I visit. I tried it on in NYC and I was too fat at the time. I hope it's in stock in SF... It's the highest rise jean that brand makes with a slim sil. but it might still be a bit too low for me.

I do see the allure of a low top though given the weight and heft; considering getting a nice blucher, etc but keep dropping $ on more boots :X

These jeans are terrific faders it seems...not going to be a boring contest at all.

I guess a local place carries Alden now and maybe I can find a Viberg dealer when i'm in SF later this month.

I think I want to get that boot broak. I've never gotten sizing advice on boots that's worked out though :/

Yes! very light whiskers.  very exciting!!  

these jeans are mega starchy!  They stood up on their own after they dried and they held rigidly horizontal like the flag on the moon.

 

Denim is streaky and the weft is very white.

I'm very happy!  I really like all the changes he made in this KS1002 v2.

 

Don't think they will get very much wear until after the ooe contest but maybe once every couple weeks..

just seems to be more fabric than normal.  Dunno.. hopefully it will soften up.  The fit is quite loose.

 

 

 

Just seems to really stick out there and feels like I have a 1" wad of fabric between my legs.  Don't usually notice it but was having to squeeze my legs between objects today.  

Did you guys notice how the crotch is sewn? It's kind of uncomfortable..

Who can inseam taper and union special in the bay area?

 

Need a few pairs done.
