  1. looking for either the tsubi/ksubi cross necklace (any of these: http://i41.tinypic.com/2itftd1.jpg - that picture is goat's, i hope it's ok i use it, i can't find any pictures or info online about these at all) or the number (n)ine long wooden rosary in black, i think you guys know the one...http://www.cliffedge.co.jp/detail.aspx?ID=7314, but in black.

    thanks a lot,

    evan

edit: also interested in any interesting knits, cardigans, tops, etc and boris bidjan saberi/damir doma pieces

  2. that's rad, is that the one with vibrato/reverb? i just keep wanting to buy combo amps lately, i'm so sick of hauling huge cabs around and i'm not even old yet.

that's the one - i'm playing a bass through it and it sounds sick.

if you're looking at combos, don't go for the solarus; it's the size of a half-stack.

  3. hahahaha awesome quote.

This is how I feel about all technology. Doesn't the kaoss pad let you bend a note any way you move your finger? If so very cool.

pretty sure that's one of the things it does, it also works as a sampler (although my mini kaoss pad only samples a glitchy second or so), and some sort of multi-effects. i haven't gotten to drop it in my chain yet. it's a pretty cool gadget.

    pedalboard count is at nine

  4. by the way some kid brought his behringer half stack over today. my ears are dead.

the thing is just awful, it has no redeeming qualities. on the lowend, it sounds like you have a octaver beneath everything. If that makes sense?

the mids hurt my ears really bad.

behringers are generally shit. if someone is at a musical point where they need the amount of volume a half-stack gives (gigging and such), they should be at a point where they can afford more than a shitty, rip-off, 300 dollar half stack.

i know exactly what you mean about the mids, i've heard that problem with a lot of behringers. not all of them, because every model is made from the shittiest scrap-heap parts and you never really know what you're getting.

i have had some great experiences with their bass amps though, but i think i just got lucky. played the same model, different unit a couple of days later and it sounded horrible.

in other news, i'm buying a boss rc-2 loop station pedal later today.

sunn model t + sunn solarus + sunn 6x12 + sunn 4x12 > super feedbacker pedal > old hondo II originalmodel (w/ badass pickup booster) = my fuzzed out rig of destruction

i've been looking for sunn o))) shit for so long but i always end up fucking myself on ebay and losing in the last three minutes. best rig i've seen in here.

edit: saving for a new amp head, do any of you guys know about acoustic image amps, also what the fuck happened to my post

  5. despite the yankees being a bit too careful with joba in the rotation (he was a starter in the minors) he's returning to form. once they have him throwing one hundred pitches a game, he'll be unstoppable.

i still don't think they should have dropped him in the rotation when he's only going to throw seventy to eighty pitches, at most. train him until he's conditioned to start again, then drop him in. igawa could have started these last two; he's turning a corner, i think.

  6. Line 6 amps blow hard in my opinion.

agreed. i agree with your point on fender amps too, to a degree; for a majority of genres fender is pretty sick.

shuka: as far as those two amps go, go with the frontman all the way. if i may, i'd like to suggest a roland micro cube. multitude of sounds, durable as fuck, nice clean and distorted tone.

  7. rasner not so good for the yankees today. he has good stuff, but his streakiness is reminding me of aaron small, bigtime. i like him though, hope he can get his may stuff back.

in other yankees news, kei igawa threw a six inning no hitter for aaa scranton/wilkes-barre. still not confident in him, but maybe there's something there?

  8. Seriously, what they hell does that even mean?

    what's with the condescending tone?

i'm sorry you find it hard to understand my stylistic direction explained in what i thought to be its most explicit terms; if it helps, the slashes denote the fact that we blend styles. you can stop at "progressive rock," if you'd like. i just found the ambiguity of the single term to be a little too broad.
