  1. closed on the first usually. open from the 2nd or 3rd.

you will have to fight the hatsuuri crowd. the afternoon of

12/31 is a good time bc the markdown for New Years would already have been done but untouched by the Japanese or mainland tourists. some of the smaller places like Midwest does this for you

cp is pretty hard to find. it's not part of the normcore cool guy starter pack in Tokyo.

ua is an authorized retailer. seven daikanyama has more exotic models like derbies

What's the starter pack consist of, I'm really curious lol

  2. Go to gangnam gu apgujeong area, they got pretty much all the branded stuffs there, go to boontheshop or shinsegae.

Generally all the food pretty much taste the same, aka spicy. Boy do I miss exploring the city at night while drinking cheap soju lol.

  3. If they are free-standing shops then harajuku fashion really has fallen off.

I can't see any of these brands fitting in with the hills-zoku cliente.

    N. Hollywood, WJK, and Soph maybe...

    Think its a horrible idea.

Now you can buy "rebellious" Undercover while waiting for your cafe latte to get made at the Starbucks next door.

    What a joke.

Starbucks coffee is crap, though I do enjoy looking at the can2, jj female crowds that goes to the roppongi hills Starbucks.

  4. apparently roppongi hills is redoing their men's fashion area

new stores include: undercover, soph, facetasm, n. hollywood, factotum, attachment, wjk, minotaur

    good idea? i don't know

i think these are all free-standing shops

I don't think its a good idea. Unless they are trying to jack up their prices by opening up flagship store there. Or maybe international brands like prada, Gucci, Armani etc can't afford rents in roppongi no more?

  5. thanks for the suggestion. i'll definitely check out the 01 slim in person..

haha yeah they look like dad jeans on some of the fit pics i've seen. i guess thats the appeal

I got the 01 slim. Fits really good, and I really like the deer skin indigo patch touch.

The 20L is not big at all, this is about what you would expect as an average build:

If you're asking about the 28L, that fits like a refrigerator on your back. I bought mine, laughed at how ridiculous the sizing was then sold it.

I noticed the newer ones no longer has the optional waist strap. Is visvim cutting corners now, like how they moved their fbt jp production line to China from Japan, yet increasing the prices. Not that I use the waist strap since it's kinda bothersome, but it's nice to have even though I won't be using it

  6. Yeah, no doubt that it looks well made. But that sanjuro bomber looks weird even when Hirokis wearing it. The guy wearing it in the lookbook looks like he's just trying hard to be edgy and cool with a fusion jacket.

  7. That's a pretty good fit man. I think it'll look better than people with narrow shoulders than wide ones, I'll try and see if I can get one at yahoo later, thanks for the pics.

Does anyone know the fit of the maliset coyote folk shoes? There's one in my size, but no idea if it'll fit or I need to upsize.

  9. That hand printed shorts are pretty campy. Are the prints random or are the hands cleverly placed on the ass and crotch area?

Anybody getting the emperor bomber? Was thinking of getting it to wear for next year's Chinese New Year festivals.

  10. Can anyone please explain the difference between Visvim Lamina and Ballistic series? Thanks in advance!

Get the more durable ballistic ones. I don't personally own one, but from what i read in the old threads, the lamina ones are too fragile and rip to easily.
