  3. I walked kumano kodo this past spring. Beautiful, strenuous hiking. Switchbacks don't exist on Japanese trails, so there are lots of peaks to climb and descend, back-to-back.

I just visited last week and walked a few trails. I agree it is really strenuous! although it was a mixed of semi paved tracks most were rocks and very steep! Really beautiful part of Japan and even more enjoyable as it is not ridden with tourists. Kawayu seninburo was a good experience

  4. I've been before, but my fiancé hasn't so might check it out. I think I could do a few days in Fukuoka and and a few in Beppu etc.

I'm headed that way in 2 weeks, also going to check out kagoshima if I have time.

Have you been to Naoshima? I went there on my last trip and recommend it if you are passing by.

  5. This is probably the best collection Raf has done in the past few seasons

Agree with Djrajio, definitley expect elements of this collection to be reinterpreted by others next season.

I personally think Rafs aesthetic has progressed for the better and he is positioning himself ina  different league of designer (think Miucca., Nicholas G,)

  6. Hey all,

Heading to tokyo next week and just wanted to ask for any good recs for good restaurants , particulary vegetarian/organic places but anything you guys think is worth checking out really. I am not fussed price wise, suggestions from all ends of the spectrum would be appreciated!

Also if any one has any tips for good hotels near Naoshima, I have left it super late so cant stay on the island. Where would the next best location be? Have found a few places in Takamatsu

    Any help would be good!

    Cheers!
