it's an interesting thought, i'd be worried about the back breaking if you pull the head, tis all.
do work son. doing well non the less
I'd be lying to you if I told you I haven't strained a trap here and there doing it. But then again, who hasn't strained/pulled something during heavy lifting, right?

ok , fine.
what do you mean "relax...front delts" ? they really shouldn't be engaged at all apart from the entire delt being down/back
Sorry, meant to say the entire delt. It helps me relax them down and forward. A little trick I learned from my coach to "lengthen" my arms and shorten my deadlift stroke by at least 2 inches. And I know someone of your strength levels, know how important every single inch is on a deadlift (and other lifts of course).

Example of it helping some people..
Oleksandr Kutcher -
And even Ed Coan had some head tilt -
Once again, I'm not saying that it's ideal for everyone. I'm just saying the head in the neutral position the whole time isn't the right way all the time for everyone for all lifts.

mrchariybrown:
what i'm saying is, pulling with your head like that doesn't help with anything...
watch this for more info..
That's great and all but like I said, it does help me at my current stage right now at the top for lockout.
And if you want, look closer at my video - I don't shoot my head back (and not much) until I get well above my knees for the lockout. It helps relax my arms and front delts.

See you bitches Saturday.

Your words hurt
lol
Do they shrink a lot with a wash? Maybe the 34's will work...

I've always wanted to fuck with some somets. Which model do you own?

Except it doesn't at all.
Except for my current pulling form and strengths/weaknesses, it does.
Yes, I agree that with most people, keeping your head straight/neutral helps better with lockout.
You've got to realize that not everyone is built the same. I push off with my quads a lot and tend to go on my heels. Also, my weak link is my upper/mid back, and it's difficult for me to lock heavy stuff out without hitching. And until I fix those problems, it's easier for me to lockout with keeping my head up.
You'll see my head position change from time to time.
I'll have my (deadlift world record holding) coach help me out with my issues.

Good work, BUT
Need to work on the lockout. Also, start pulling and keep your head DOWN. You did not keep the head in neutral, which makes it harder all the way down the chain.
See this for what I mean:
As far as lockout, more hip/posterior chain work. Get those glutes to fire. Hip thrusts, glute bridges, lunges even.
lol yeah I know my lockout is my sticking point. My coach and I have been working on it for a while. It's gotten much better in the past months.
The head thing only happens with heavy pulls. Helps me lockout.

Here's the deadlift

are these painted on you? how is that comfortable? i try to mobilize at work as well.
They're the first pair in a while that aren't painted on - definitely snug though. Pretty comfortable given the circumstances.

oh lol. yeah im not going to wear those LOL..
what about regular pants AKA IM NOT A STYLE WHORE
looks like left field may actually work out well if i don't get any fatter and i stay in the 26-27" thigh size at lower bf..
I just got a pair of these. Pretty dope.

now i need you to link me to some pants
FASR favourite jeans on sale -> here (only 31 and 34 left)
Fits a little big in the waist. Got a pair of 34's but I could've gone with 33's. Due to the anti-fit personality of the jeans, I'm still happy with jeans.
Kind of crappy fit pics on that site too.. here are some better ones in this dude's FS thread.

what are your thighs at? i need new pants man :/
nice numbers, what weight class?
About 25-27" depending on the day of the week and time of day.
A little 198. Weighed in at 194.5 with a day's worth of day in me.
Hopefully I'll be up to 205-210 for my November meet so I can cut down to 198's like most guys do.

so what are y'all wearing for pants/denim/chinos?
I've got 26.5" right at crotch thighs, COME AT ME BRO
Wearing more drop-crotch pants recently.
Jeans, I've got a pair of Momotaro's now. But for the past few months, I've been wearing the same pair of NDG black jeans with the thighs painted on like usual.
Just got a pair of FASR favourite jeans in black today and I can tell you right now that it will most likely become my "favorite" pair of jeans for a bit.
On a separate note, pulled 515 and squatted 430 at my meet this past Saturday. Class 1 total in my weight class

Got a Class I total in my weight class at my powerlifting competition this past Saturday.
Deadlifted 515. So stoked.

There is a god. I will be honest and say that if she pushed up on me with that, I certainly would not be able to handle all of it.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Made me feel better for sure.
Another confession. Tired of being unemployed. Also, I want to move to ny. I hope someone wants to hire me in ny. Two birds with one stone.

I think I'm going to put my dog down tomorrow.
It's been 11 years since I've cried but I fear that I might tomorrow. It's been a good 17 years growing up with her. Good dog.

How is this a bad thing I am guzzling muscle milk and creatine just to get loosey goosey in EG/NigCab smalls.
Okay. Well, now picture your thighs and butt so big you can't fit into size 34-36 EG pants comfortably.
