Anybody here tried one of those vaporgenie? From what I read, it seems good albeit a steep learning curve.

at 1/10th of a volcano, it's certainly a fair tradeoff..

a friend of mine got one a few weeks ago, and we were able to figure out how to use it correctly the first night. I'm in the market for a vape right now, and seriously considering the vaporgenie because it's so cheap. Does anybody know how it stacks up in regard to efficiency to other vapes?

Oh and my friend's sister flew from LAX to BWI (Baltimore) with a quarter of dank in a ziploc in her pocket so I guess it's easier than it seems.

Everyone seems to be talking about taking it in your carry-on. Wouldn't putting it in your checked baggage be safer? I guess I don't exactly know what they do to your baggage after you drop it off.

I might be going to grad school on the opposite coast next year, and I was thinking putting in my checked baggage or mailing it would be safest. But maybe just pockets is the way to go? TSA agents probably aren't trained to look for drugs, and after the security check you're pretty much golden, right?

Finally made it up to the valley last weekend and went to Delta 9 and RDC. Delta 9 is 21+ now, so I couldn't get in. RDC was pretty good though, and I picked up some Blue Dream Haze since that's one of my favorite strains, a gram of chocolate hash and got a free gram for being a new patient.

The Blue Dream Haze is nice and cerebral, a good energetic Sativa. Not a particularly smooth smoke, but a really long lasting high.

We're drinking Glenmorangie and watching Do the Right Thing.

personally I pretty much frequent a place called RDC in reseda for the last few months, really dank stuff, 8's r like 40-60 and even there low end stuff can be pretty fucking dank( e.x. green crack, silver haze, GDP is considered low end there). brownies are like 3 for 18 and not bad. there's also a dope club called Delta 9 in van nuys, went there once, got some pretty good Fire OG for 50, they do patient appreciation every like first saturday i think? but honestly i just stay with RDC cuz seriously there consistiency is very very good.

Thanks. I think I'll be up in Oxnard for the Sound and Fury Festival at the end of the month, so I'll stop by RDC and Delta 9. Both have some really good reviews on other sites as well. I'll report back if I make it up there.

Can anyone recommend some dispensaries in So Cal? I know earlier in the thread some people (Token) have had some strong opinions. I'll be getting my med card in a few weeks and plan on making a visit to some places in either LA or OC, since I don't think there is much outside of delivery services in the IE.

Got my wisdom teeth out on Wednesday... want to smoke, but don't want to risk dry socket... 5 days is probably long enough to wait but I'm nervous nonetheless.

I got all 4 taken out last Monday, and it took 4 days until I felt like it was safe to smoke. Haven't gotten a dry socket yet, so who knows.

Sharpstone grinder?

Any other brands I should look at or is sharpstone the best, hands down?

I ordered one last night. After looking and asking around, it seemed like the best for the price. I got it on ebay for 19.99 and free shipping.

Spacecase and a few others seem to be better, and some have said that Sharpstones can leave metal shavings in rare cases and big stems will bend the teeth (but who would be grinding big stems anyway?) but the prices were way more than sharpstone.

Yeah, I'd be looking for a medium or a large small. I saw a guy recently at a show out here wearing one. I was thinking of emailing Downpresser as well and seeing if they had any left instead of waiting for them to play a local show.

Put the last of my kief in some coffee several days ago, it was quite nice. I'd never put anything in coffee before, and wasn't sure how well it would work. It wasn't a whole lot, so I didn't get particularly lifted, but just enough to know the world was still a good place.

ive smoked on a roof once. its a good experience.

The first time I ever smoked was on the roof of a hostel in Chefchouen, Morocco. It was amazing.
