  2. i had a bottle of that youngs double chocolate stout the other night..it was a good choice..one of my new favs.

gave it a try the other night too. it was pretty good. there is a trader joes near me so i might give it a try.

  3. Oh Shit!

"Will Carroll of Baseball Prospectus says the Red Sox, Pirates and Marlins have agreed to a three-team Manny Ramirez deal, pending Ramirez waiving his no-trade clause and league approval.

Carroll, not normally one of our preferred sources, has the Red Sox getting Jason Bay and John Grabow; the Marlins acquiring Ramirez, cash and a prospect from the Red Sox and the Pirates picking up Jeremy Hermida, two prospects from the Marlins and one from Boston. "

so when will you be starting your GM career? haha

  4. pecans are a much better nut than cashews..

my diet is basically the same everyday.

bfast 6am: omlette with 3 eggs and 1oz chicken and vegetables, handful of pecans

snack 10am: 2oz chicken, apple, a few pecans

lunch 12pm: 5oz chicken, some vege, handful of pecans

snack 330pm: 2oz chicken, apple, a few pecans

dinner 6: 5oz chicken, some vege, handful of pecans

i dont eat bread or any other starch.. it was misterable to ween myself off but now its not so bad. its a 18block zone diet. which is a little but too much for me since i dont work out as consistently anymore. over the next month im going to training more so i should lean out a little bit. only suplements i take are fish oil and a daily multi vitamin.

  5. does no carbs mean no starchy carbs with a high GI? or no carbs as in no fruits and vegetables also...

while i understand the low carb diet, if you are active at all, you need some carbs to fuel your body.

a paleo/zone diet works best for me. its just hard for me to stay on since im not training for anything, but if you follow it 90% of the time, you should see results. its just a pain in the ass weighing your protien out and counting shit, but after a while you get used to it.

  6. splain. your post confused me.

if you try to do it in a public gym, you are panting, jumping, swinging, doing snatches and cleans (which people find strange enough), and all other exercises people dont see in normal gyms. you also end up using a ton of equipment at once for the circuit workouts.

i did crossfit while in school and was in great shape. i try to do it now but i find it hard to motivate myself for the intense exercises. whenever i travel for work i meet up with an affiliate and its very convenient. its not for everyone, but i think you would enjoy the intensity/challenge.
