i tend to agree. i lived south of sunset blvd in silverlake 4 years ago and it can get sketchy real fast. too many people have a false sense of security and forget how gang infested the rampart/silverlake adj. area is. i saw way too much ill shit from my front porch and i had my car broken into waaaaay to many times. ahhh memories.

i don't really think it's a good idea to recommend the rampart area for someone who is new to the city especially if he is white. if you disagree you probably haven't lived here too long. zing!

i believe you are 100% right. i usually wear an 11-11.5 in most shoes and my size 11 elk reservations are a bit on the big side for sure. a size 10 would've been perfect.

correct me if I'm wrong, but I 99% sure the .jp line runs up to 11, g-line up to 12.

as for sizing, I'm a 10.5 in most shoes, but a 9.5 in elk reservations, 10 in suede ancestors. the elk does stretch and conform nicely if it's a bit snug.

entertained the idea of copping a pair of the Lhamo FBT's from yahoo.jp auctions. price in my size is already up to $575 with 12 hours left. fucking hell. is the hype train on full steam with these or just uber limited production?

I hope union la gets the Elk FTBs cuz i can't find a size 11 black anywhere. i'd even pay plainflour's rape prices if he had one.
