lol sent off deck, found out it sold for 20$.
Make me something and I'll shore it up. I liked yours but I'm very selective about the genre. ATM Peacock and Hookups Bamboo Forest top my small collection.

I did hear back, but only that the prize is not yet available. I will try them again now that they seem to have momentum going again.

They look good Awsha. I've had a tough time wearing mine to work since that inspection I mentioned so I've been wearing mine as pure lounge pants. I will get photos! I also still want to mod them.
As far as the shoes question, I've worn mine with Red Wings -- the black 875, can't think of the true model number of it. They work. It's such a jean-like cut.
No worries Pepper, I have a thing for lower pocket repairs at the moment. They're fun. If he changes his mind the door's always open. By email do you mean PM, bud? I hope so because I don't really use email too much and haven't sent anything.

Some repairs to my wife's Baldwin EJ, a front crotch blow and a belt loop blow.
Didn't get before photos.

Payment sent. I sent it as a friend -- please lmk if there are fees due.
Size 35, full inseam.
*Ed, if there is a question about "full inseam" I mean like 38-40. Thinking repair fabric.

Hey all, sorry I've been away. I'm thinking size 35 for myself. I'll look back through the thread and figure out how to get paid up.

Ray, it's more like just working with people who want to fix their jeans and who dig the style of hand repairs over machine repairs. Coincidently Left Field has been what people have wanted fixed. It's a good sign people love the brand, because they want to keep wearing em! Repair has been the only thing I can really keep my head into lately, whether it's for myself or other people...trumping movies, reading, anything else I typically enjoy. As far as full time, no. It does consume my spare time though. Repairing jeans full time would be unbelievably awesome, Ray!
Mike's were particularly rewarding because he'd given up on them completely and now they have a ton of extra lifespan. His mom did a bunch of work on them too, some of which was left alone. She did some pocket bag work that was left alone, just out of respect. It's pretty damn cool when your mom tries to fix your favorite jeans.
Satchel has been great about keeping us moving on it. It's something we all really love. Satchel doesn't want credit but his excitement over seeing what we're up to has been a real driving force. We're good enough friends to have talked a little more deeply about my mindset of late and I have to say I appreciate that he cares so much about it.

Sorry for my long absence folks. I've had a lot on my mind. I'll update my sweats soon but may have to disqualify myself for lack of updates. Anyone who wants to call me on it please feel free.
Thanks for the props Satchel -- repairs have been very relaxing and therapeutic lately. Pepper, I'd love to get my hands on that green heather pair! The lower pocket on Mike's has become kind of a defined method for me after doing Mike's pair and also some stuff on Andrew's (at BlkBlu) pair of old LF slims. If you're interested let me know. Jordan (overexposed1) and I try to pass off areas of repair so we can both immerse ourselves in each pair. Crotches and pockets are pretty technical so I like to do em with my pragmatic beast-like no-nonsense style. He's more artsy and I think I said it best to Satchel today that his work has a cool, funky energy to it.

Paul T gave me solid help with a pair of jeans when I really needed it. He also fought hard for the previous sufu version, yeah.

I found some Straight Sven in plain non-streaky selvedge. I had a pair of dbs years ago which got too large.
I won't be destitching the pockets or anything. It's on my short list of great fits so I'll keep em deadstock, as-is. I just don't care if it sucks. I probably won't get to them for another ten years anyway

On one of my first dates with my wife, she blasted through a bunch of street repair cones with a Volvo station wagon. Didn't even faze her. As a kid, my first good car was a Volvo 242 in metallic sky blue. When I stayed with my dad I used to steal his RX7 all the time but I never liked it as much. With mom I lived in Duluth, MN and there is a road called Skyline Parkway that is fun to drive fast. I would never dream of hitting it fast in an RX7 but I loved losing it in the 242. Damn, those old turbines are so good.
I've got an odd feeling, like I'm darkening down deeply on denim for some reason. Count me in, I need something happy.
I wish I had a baby to share, congrats you guys!

I don't even know if she's still around or into denim anymore. Hopefully she'll catch her pics getting linked and come take some credit. Looking at that pair, it boggles the mind to think of the potential!

Diane Baker was pretty goddam old by the time she played mom senator in Silence of the Lambs. I daresay she doesn't even qualify for the thread anymore haha
but my god...so fly as a young lady, so fly. Would have wifed in a hot ass minute.
