  1. On a serious note - although as I recall I pulled the images from the old Ooe site and not obtained privately, I'm just wondering if I should take them down. It might generate unwelcome e-mail traffic to Ryo and Hiro. Not sure

You could ask them about that but I'm not sure how they are about getting back to people atm.  I emailed them earlier this week but no word back yet.

  2.

Here's a pair of raws from my gf. These start looking broken in.

But it's so hard to keep repairing them. Being used to Japanese denim pairs that hardly need a repair before reaching 10-12 months, this is a bit disappointing.

The cut is very nice though.

    Type: Ten - Skinny

Worn for: 1 year, probably 4-5 months of effective wear

Washes: 3-4, first one around 3 months.

    Cheers

    Nice work!

I like em too.  The EJ is also nice -- very reminiscent of the straight cut from Evisu's Heritage for Women, the 06ish ones designed to reflect the Macau made No.1 Specials.

  3. You guys I need to wear my sweats more.  I don't know why but I've had the worst luck with my LF sweat items!  The pants took a load of glue right across the lap.  No big worries, it'll fade out.  The shirt however...ohboy it's an embarrassing tale but I was organizing a jobsite dumpster one morning and lo and behold someone had taken a dump in a home depot bucket...a turd I did not see and which unfortunately tipped out of the bucket and rolled down the front of my sweatshirt.

Emperor, I do have a nice sized remnant of this material.  Let me know if you would a swatch of it to run a patch, and if so what dimensions you need.

  4. Few hours?  I lost track a little bit because I was excited about a new iron and was prepping a bunch of other repairs as well.

It's a pretty fast stitch once you get going with it.

  5. Also @jyoni I'm really liking all the work you're doing on the repairs and I need some holes repaired on a couple pairs of pants.  I'm in the twin cities and just wondering if you'd be willing to fix them up for me, with some compensation obviously. Let me know! Thanks

Hey bud, I've had to dark on the web for a bit so I apologize for a late response.  Why don't you bring them along to pho one of these Fridays?

  6. Jeans are here!  Thanks for getting everyone taken care of guys.

I am impressed with the trailing stitches and two tone threading as mentioned but I think my favorite detail is that the patch artwork is embossed.  That is a super nice touch to indicate the high quality, and it's nice to see it on such a custom, one-off patch.

I hope the patch can survive the rigors of my shrinking methods as they are intense.  Fits to come.

  7. n&f the skinny lightweight super stretch. worn for around a year and a half, more heavily in first 6 months, washed 2-3 times?

I'll patch that rip so good if you're looking to repair.

  8. I think I may have mentioned it but the 005 and the Skull Linda are direct templates for each other, except the 005 has more rise.  This is true for my girl's pairs anyway.  Her 005 are an old tabbed pair, which in my own experience with older 005 may differ slightly from new runs.

cliffs, you rare birds starving for a Linda should try a tight 005.
