The Frontline episodes are well worth watching.

Got my Heavy Nep Greasers today from Mutiny DC. Fit and quality are spot on, per usual. My initial impression is the Candiani 14 oz Heavy Nep fabric is very soft, with a good amount of hair and nep. Any idea how these will fade?
Looking forward to bringing these on my biz trip next week.
My only long-term experience with heavy nep is the Ooe-Yofukuten #44. I don't think it's possible to draw too many comparisons across different fabrics, but one thing I did notice that may be characteristic of nep is that a lot of the nep vanished with hard wear. Even in darker pools of less wear it is all but gone.
***edit, it wasn't a bad thing and was an interesting process to witness.

Nice bit of evo Jyoni! I assume you spend a fair bit of time sliding on your knees!
Yes, it's almost impossible for me to avoid early knee wear. Even when a guy gets older and more selective about work, there's a fair amount of scrambling around.

Sup pepperdavies! Long time no see buddy!!! Those sweats are intense...very very nice work. The whole fade structure is really impressive but I especially love how your hem work is panning out so beautifully with the roping. No worries on the email, just wanted to check up on you and say hi.
werd, those are truly some remarkable chinos.

I've got a lot going on with moving and working, so I apologize for slipping a bit in updates!
So-called "Winter weight" is keeping me from wearing these as often as I'd like. By so-called I mean it has more to do with increased beer consumption while packing, than it does with Winter.

Hey Flash, idk if you contacted Ryo and Hiro but I heard back. Still very vague but there was contact. I didn't want to discuss what I talked about earlier about putting the prize to better use. If it would just simply be easier for them, it would be fine with me, but I wouldn't want it taken the wrong way.

Nice to see the flurry of activity on the sweat post, 26 days left and counting! Love the customization Jyoni, reminds me of old school fashion back in the day were people modified their clothes to make them one offs and super stylee. So to clarify is overexposed doing the handy work?
nice fades on the cuffs Jortslife.
I have a few yards of fabric I used for shrink test here which is available in smaller pieces for paid shipping.
Black Blue and I will be voting separately so opens up the contest to 6 prizes. Keep posting participation is a factor.
Thanks for the high compliment, Christian! To answer you, what we like to do is trade stuff off and both work on the same piece. Emperor's scenario is quite an exception for us actually because of a "conflict of interest." It's nice to see the work out there on instagram and reddit.
And on that note, I appreciate all the kind words from everybody but please understand that overexposed1 deserves full and equal credit as well and should receive recognition through rep and compliments.
I love seeing the repairs you guys have done! Don't fault yourself so much on the work because they look great. It's nice to see this type of stuff emerging as a steeze.

Well, well, well look who it is LOL. Emperor, I'm sorry to make you wait. overexposed1 said your post had a direct "plz" in it so he gave me a call. I've been incredibly preoccupied and I do apologize. We did take a batch of photos of a bunch of stuff, including the sweats.
There are some serious contenders here! You guys have really done awesome work on your sweats. Mine are nowhere near, and even if they were, I would have tough time qualifying myself due to my negligence of updates!!!
We really went to town on these, adding pockets, belt loops, transferring the patch, and fixing a hole. There is one belt loop left to add. Also, there is one final touch which is proving to be quite labor intensive and is still in progress.
The fabric is ALL original Left Field indigo terry and the pockets themselves are templated from Left Field!

Damn don't see this come up often. Great stuff. 400 blows is pretty good but old. Wish I could think of more that you didn't mention.

First time I've spotted a fit of yours. Nice!
*no wait I'm wrong I've seen your fits. Still...nice!

Please reserve a 36...prepay is fine.

Whoa those sound incredible. I remember knocking the idea around with Steve and Satchel about a blue/black intertwined ID line...however a warp/weft effect is just absolutely ILL.

Ray now has a 30 oz crotch
We've toyed with the idea of using flyweight denim for those but nah...it always softens however heavy.
No stank was on Ray's pants. If there was any in there it would have marinated up pretty quickly. Fabric gets warm when you work on it lol.
dwarffruit, maybe pm? I hesitate to post contact info because there are vendors here who work very hard at what they do and who have to pay for the privilege of exposure here. I know this is super small fry stuff, but still. While we aren't in it for the money we do need it to be worth our time. Stuff takes forever. This is something I think I should probably contact wayne about to get his thoughts on it.

Oh wait, no, I already sent them back to Ray.

John, you really are a little bitch if you don't bring in those repairs for me to see in person!
We could set up a play date with the seamstress if you want.

Incidentally we were watching The Thing when oe1 was chasing me down with his head in the pants. Pic is right after the blood test scene.

Could be, now that you ask. hmmmmm irlydk.

Someone had the fucking nerve to call me a bitch for doing that.

Quality! How much of this are you doing by hand, how much by machine roughly?
None by machine, all by hand
...roughly

Nothing ever seems rare or special in the moment...then someone takes pictures.
Hi Ray! Yes that's a spider-man blanket back there. Note the boxes as well...moving stee'
Love it or leave it
