  1. Okaykay, you gus are really homing in on a great military/tech aesthetic at the moment. Compliments all around. I was actually contemplating to pick these pants up last week, but the rib cuffs made me hesitate. Not because i don't like the ribknit, but because i wasnt sure it fit the overall aesthetic. Fit pic is swaying me back, though.

I think everyone agrees that the loose top block/tapered leg combo works great on this particular model. One of the things that can help in picking how the taper should end is how the fabric drapes with the different hem options. Ribknit results in a subtly bloused look, which adds to the mil Esthetic but can also end up looking sloppy. A zip gusset gives you a more pronounced taper and elastic or drawcord makes for a very abrubt end and a strong blousing effect. No adjustment and simply tapering down allows for pinrolling which is a nice option to have and probably the most conventional.

Because the pattern looks so nice, i'd say keep a ripstop variant for summer, and add a schoeller version (not laminated or lined but single or double weave, maybe brushed) for three season use. The rib knit cuffs are more befitting of a summer piece and then the schoeller one can either do gusset zips or, thanks to it's stretch, a simple strong taper that allows for rolling. Best of both worlds, right?

At any rate i love where you guys are going both aesthetically and technically.

Edited to add i have a recurring fantasy about dark, warm grey colorways for tech pants that look like weather-beaten brutalist concrete architecture.

I need a pair with a tapered zipper ankle for the summer in that grey colorway you were talking about badly please.

  2. been a minute since I checked in here, been neck deep ramping up for FW14, but wanted to share a pant style I've been pretty stoked on that we introduced this last season. We

weren't sure what the response would be, but it's been pretty insane so far.

98% cotton ripstop, 2% elastine. Tapered fit, 3" ribbed cuff, dual F-Stop pockets. All designed and built in SF.

Would love some feedback or ideas, thinking of doing this same pant in a couple different fabrics for FW14.

    More detail shots here.

I think you should try a tapered ankle with a zipper.

  3. i wiped off oil from my engines dipstick from my hands onto the side of my jeans, now there is a stain!

my goodness who would have thought something like cause and effect would take place

That is the most amazing thing I have ever heard. I think it might be a conspiracy.

  4. the first thing is gay. but the 2nd and 3rd can be either way depending who its done to.

never tossed a girl's salad and fucked her in the ass?

Speaking of tossing salad, just earlier today I told my babies mother that I wanted to pull her buttcheeks apart and put my tongue in her poop shoot. That does not make me gay does it?

  5. Two fact about were I was raised in Potomac Md:

    1. Mike Tyson and former wife Monica Turner lived less than two miles away.

    2. I went to high school with Sugar Ray Leonards son Ray Jr. at Churchill.

    Were I live now:

    1. A man was found murdered behind my building recently.

    2. We have drive-through liquor stores.

The moral of this post is to not drop outta college and make babies.

It does not say where the denim is made. The denim is a little streaky and reminds me of kicking mule denim.Very happy with the quality and for $100 don't think I can really beat it .Left camera at parents winter house I will post picks on x-mas when I see them. Hope this helps someone with sizing questions.
