^^ Those look pretty good, where did you get them from?

Diversity of music styles isn't really a problem. The problem is that there isn't much variety within each style . If you're into hip-hop for example, be prepared to hear the same songs played at every "hip hop" club. There's no distinction between east coast, west coast, old school, etc.
Bangkok is a great place, but I think the club/party scene pales in comparison to most other major cities around the world.

Probably because the sizing is so random. Some shrink down to the tagged size, some don't.
I bought a pair of one wash in 33, and the actual measurment was a shade under 32.

I'm a white dude who can do the squat. Actually, I'm quarter Japanese, so maybe that's where I get the skill. It's comfortable as hell.

I think he's the dude in the backgound running in to cop the newest limited denim.

I wonder how many times that retro asian dude has gotten his ass kicked.

Back to Singapore women, I've always heard they're all about the 5 C's
Cash, Credit Card, Car, Condo, Country Club
Don't have those and you don't have a chance, so they say.....
I spent a week there a couple years ago. Nice place, but I was bored out of my head after day 3.

Always some interesting people riding the BART trains here in the bay.

Just joined the club. Got a pair of 811 one wash on the way from Japan. Looking forward to seeing them in about a week or so.

The air in Bangkok can either make you salivate or sick to your stomach.
You'll understand what poly means when you get there. Stepping outside is like walking into a furnace.

Man, this thread makes me miss Bangkok. Nothing like feeling that blast of heat as you step off the plane to let you know you've truly arrived.
I usually go 3-4 times a year, but since I returned to school my trips have had to be curtailed. Hoping to make it back again next summer.

Picked these up about 2 weeks ago as my first foray into premium denim. The quality and fit is great, but they're a bit too slim for my liking. Been worn 3 times, no wash and no soak. Size 31x34. All the measurements fit right in between the 30 and 32 on the sizing chart.
$175 shipped in the ConUS. Feel free to PM me here or shoot an email to [email protected] with any questions. Thanks!

Denim will generally stretch a half inch to an inch more than the raw measurements (hard to believe but my 5000vx have now stretched over 1 inch larger than BIGs raw measurements after a few months). Based on BIGs raw measurements I'm guessing the ones tagged 30 will stretch to max 33 and taged 31 will stretch to max 34. If your hips are 33.5 I'm guestimating you will be comfortable in a 31 and sufu tight in a 30. But depends on the pair, how you measured, how BIG measured, and type of denim, but that's roughly right. Tagged size is irrelevant. If you can try them on and they fit the way you want around the waist raw, they will still fit similarly after a hot wash and a few wears, and get a little looser as they soften, stretch and comform a little more. All the shrink really does is make the jeans get a nicer drape, saturation and fit as they stretch in some areas over time and stay shrunk in others.
Cheers, thanks for the info. Unfortunately I'm nowhere near NY, so trying them on isn't an option. I think the 31's will be what I'm looking for.

I'm thinking about picking up a pair of the USA model Samurai jeans from BiG. My true waist size is a 32, but I like to sag my jeans a bit, so it's probably 33.5 where I'll be wearing them. Should I get the 30's ( which are 32 inch pre-wash) or size up to a pair that will be 32 after shrinkage? Also wondering if you guys usually soak your jeans first to shrink them down, or rock them for a while and then soak.
Sorry for the newb questions, this will be my first premium denim purchase.

I'd love to see any of those kids meet up with a real crip or blood.
