  1. Yeah I guess a lot of people would kill for an Ooe jacket. I was just curious seeing a jacket on Ryo.
  2. Did Ooe ever did a denim jacket? Probably yes?! I see Ryo wearing one in their latest IG posts and wondered if its their own or a vintage one (or maybe he just did it for himself)
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/C6FcezhuOC9/ Feels like another life...
  4. @vIGGiou riou doh! Totally forgot the pic you posted... In case you don't like them, you can send them to me
  5. @vIGGiou riou did your 101 arrive in the meantime?! Are they Orizzonti or Shins?
  6. Depends on the fit you want. Ooe usually measures a touch below tag size raw (of course this also depends on how you measure) and shrinks from there (quite a lot). Of course it will stretch back out a good amount. Other brands (like FW) is bigger than the tagged waist and shrinks to the tagged size (or slightly below)
  7. Original Line Size 36x34 One-wash measurements Waist: 36" Front rise: 11.5" Back rise: 15.5" Thighs: 13" Knee: 9.125" Leg opening: 8.25" Inseam: 31.25" (hemmed) Biggest coin pocket of the eras, a shorter fly, thicker chainstitch at the wasitband Biggest and brightest leather patch
  8. Shins era Size 36x34 Washed measurements Waist: 35" Front rise: 11" Back rise: 15" Thighs: 12.9" Knee: 9" Leg opening: 8" Inseam: 35" Shape and overall design of the top block pretty close to Orizzonti Smallest leather patch of the eras
  9. Orizzonti era Size 36x34 Raw measurements Waist: 36" Front rise: 11.5" Back rise: 15.25" Thighs: 13.375" Knee: 9.5" Leg opening: 8.375" Inseam: 36.25"
  10. Let me preface the following 3 comparison-posts with the general statement "in terms of details the 3 eras of 66XX do not differ very much". I will add additional pics over the next weeks.
  11. Apart from the obvious different details, the 801 uses rope dyed denim (cheaper) The D01 is hank dyed.
  12. Works like a charm! Before After Tried on my old 66 pair.
  13. @1fookntitefd Okayama Denim knows: https://www.okayamadenim.com/pages/fit-guide
  14. ^Still available. Also adding a Freewheelers 601XX 1947 W34 https://imgur.com/a/0LHos17 and a pair of old style Full Count 0105 W34. https://imgur.com/a/Z7IrqSf DM me your questions and we will surely find a good Sufu price.
  15. Depends on your country but since you wrote € you are in the EU. Everything you buy in Japan is without VAT but you have to pay that when you import it. And the above 150€ value you also have to pay customs fees which are 12% on top (IIRC). So for Germany, as an example, you would add 31% (19%+12%) when importing.
  16. Judging on the posts here and on IG, TCB is making a 1890s pair of No.2 denim?! Probably that is the pair they are developing. Interesting for sure. http://tcbjeans.com/news
  17. To make the shipping worthwhile, I also got this sweater. Extra long cuffs. And some wear and tear on my blanket lined Type2
  18. I really dig that look...on others 😅 it would probably bug me as well on my pairs
  19. Yeah, the Kyoto is rather slim. Has similarities to the Resolute 710. I am still searching for a W36 in this cut because of the slimmer nature.
  20. Haven't considered that yet. Also don't wanna harm/fade the denim. Gonna think about it
  21. Damn, you are right! Didn't check my Tokyo model. So it's still some kind of detail for special models. The leather of the patch also seems to be different to the standard models. But no idea what animal it is from. Measurements: W36 Waist: 36.5" Front rise: 12" Back rise: 16" Thighs: 14" Knee: 9.5" Leg opening: 9" Inseam: 35.75"
  22. I would be lying if I would say I know the answer. All other Denime jeans I have (including standard 66) have the outline X. If this would be an indicator, it feels like Samurai's way to describe their jeans through the patch But I guess this was just a design for the anniversary pair. But maybe there are more models with this thin X?! Anyway, according to old blogs this model uses the same denim as the WW2 model. So definitely no XX denim.
  23. Nope, not at all. They just wrote about an "uncle" that had these stored away. On first sight I just thought "another 66XX in deadstock condition, oh well". Then, on the second sight I noticed the leather patch looking off...and of course a L36 is not on the 66XX. Then the V-stitch and I knew they are the 15th anniversary.
