  1. You could probably just order through one of these stores:

    Headcase Hats Store

    10368 Whyte Avenue

    Suite 301

    Edmonton

    CA

    780-435-6601

    Edies Hats

    11-1666 Johnston Street

    Vancouver V6H3S2

    CA

    604-683-4280

I tried that, unfortunately they only do hats. Thanks though.

Anyone else know where I can get Goorin bags in Canada?

Also, I'm looking for a lightweight, dark red (no purple) scarf, either online or a retail location in Vancouver. Any good ones?

  2. kind of still pissed it's not spring loaded, but it's really nice for what it is. kind of the APC of butterfly knives

Ah, well it still looks great despite the lack of badass-springloading. Indeed quite nice.

  3. I might be a little too picky, but I'm looking for a couple specific details in a peacoat, preferably $250 or under:

    Shoulder epaulettes

    Back Vent

A little longer than the waistline

    Maybe cuff straps too

Does anyone know if the H&M pea coat satisfies these? hows the quality?

No cuff straps on H&M, and it's quite a bit longer, about mid-thigh. It looks great though, and the epaulets are very nice.

Oh, quality's okay, not too bad. Mine isn't falling apart yet, but I've had to cut off a lot of loose threads. I assume that's just from machine stitching. Suprisingly, the buttons are holding out quite well, that's usually the first thing to fall off on cheap coats.

  4. Keep posting more asians! I totally agree they've got way hotter tits than white girls.. my girlfriend is some nice, tangible proof.

That chick posted by ph3nen/kenthenoob is so hot. Damn.

  5. Although I wouldn't advise excessive and repeated bleaching, especially back to back applications...I seriously doubt that coloring your hair or perm...flat iron...product...whatever will make you start balding.

If that were the case, over half the women in the streets would be wearing wigs considering the shit they do to their hair.

Though...given that, I wouldn't go crazy and start carelessly A-bombing your hair with crap, either.

Someone I knew was refused haircolor at a salon because her hair was too fried and it would've fallen out if she got it colored one more time. Of course it would've grown back, but who wants to be bald if they don't have to?

I'd suggest going to a salon and getting them to do it, unless you're fine taking the risk yourself. Your hair will grow back after awhile if you destroy it.

  6. The new FF will most likely be on XBOX 360 as well.

That hasn't been confirmed or denied by Square-Enix. They still seem to be more connected with Sony at this point.

Whenever FFXIII comes out I'll buy a PS3. Hopefully by that time it'll be less than $300. I did pay $450 for a PS2 back in the day, but now I've got bills to pay.

  7. ^ I know how that feels. It's fucked up when you can't stay awake no matter what you do. I used to get 3 or 4 if I was lucky when I was working fulltime and going to school. Felt like a zombie most of the time and wasted most of my weekend sleeping. Now that school's over I usually get 7.5 on weekdays, a little more on weekends. Fitter. Happier. More productive.

  8. I couldn't skate worth shit as a kid, so I just learned with my buddy a couple years ago, and I'm 23. Never too late to learn, I say. The actual skating's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. If you wanna learn tricks you're gonna have to find someone who'll teach you. Not everyone looks down on people who are new to the sport. Just try learning the basics on your own and see how you like it.

I wouldn't bother getting opinions on what's cool and what's not... just go to your local skateshop and ask for some recommendations and go with what looks good to you.

This military surplus bag hasn't given me problems yet. And i haul a bunch of books and stuff around for class. It was only $22 too which helped me make my purchase.

I had that one. It got dirty once and faded horribly when I washed it. Used it for about a year before the strap ripped off on one side. I also had to fix one of the seams before that happened. The narrow strap was pretty uncomfortable and the strap hardware slipped a lot, causing me to have to readjust it all the time.

I want to get a nicer one with a comfortable wide strap. It's pretty hard to locate a good canvas bag, most are made of nylon. This thread's pretty helpful though.

Gap has a pretty pimp looking one made out of grey tweed, but it costs $70. And it's Gap.
