Kicking myself for not bringing a camera with me tonight. Went to a hibachi place for my friends birthday and the chef had a belt on over his apron worn like a gunbelt, only he had a metal holster with a knife in it, and you could tell he has had it forever and he took good care of it, beautiful dark brown with unique wear from doing crazy cooking shit. Sorry for no pics, just wanted to share my asian gunslinger cook story.

They are sanforized, so you don't really need to soak. And wearing them raw doesnt damage them, but for unsanforized denim, if you wear for a while then wash, the denim will shrink and your honeycombs will move up and be out of place

nvm, found the info in another thread

yep, if they're not sanforized and not washed they need a soak/wash

How does a FH f310's cut compare to a Skull 5010xx 6x6 of the same size?
They have both on selfedge.com so you can check this sizes, and the skulls are slimmer all around

After looking at those pictures, I think I might be getting one. Anyone know how much these will stretch out?
They run big, I'm a true 33 waist and I got tagged 30s, now they fit perfect without a belt
And the last 2 pics are with flash and make them look a lot lighter, they're a lot darker than that in person

I've got APC's that I've worn on and off for like 6 or 7 months. I want to shrink the knee bags, because they are starting to look completely ridiculous. Is there a way to soak jeans to shrink them but not lose any of the color/fading process? and could I only soak part of the jean to have only one section shrink back to size until I soak the whole pair?
Somebody posted a few pages back suggesting to put a towel inside the leg behind the knee and spraying the knee or getting it wet somehow so just the knee bulge shrinks

Anyone read The Dark Tower series by King? I'm in love with the series, and love how he tied it into this book(along with a lot of his books)

i was compelled to watch this episode. quite dissapointing in my opinion. figured it be focused on something a little more interesting rather than the simple myth that jeans could possibly catch on fire. the answer was kinda clear to me from the start. ANYWHO, mythbusters are a group of talented people nonetheless and i love their show.
I meant the one where they make Grant wear STF jeans in a kiddie pool to see if they will shrink enough to cut off his circulation and kill him:p forgot about the fire one

e-mail mythbusters and tell them to do it, they already did one jeans related myth

I went to King of Prussia today and the Levi store had a lot of 50-75% off stuff, pretty much all button up and t-shirts, and most jackets were on sale. The raw denim jackets and selvage 501 jeans weren't on sale sadly.
