  1. The sale was pretty crappy, prices werent too bad but the stuff i found didnt fit v nicely nor was it anything that looked outstanding.

    Prices were:

    Tees $20

    Pants/Jeans $40

    Shoes $40

    Jackets $80

Not worth going to unless you happen to be in the area and have a bit of time to browse quickly.

Arisu - you're talking about me =P you shoulda said hi... but then again that might've been a bit freaky ay.

  2. whoever said the hair cut is easy is spot on. $30 for a freaking short cut like that which isnt even difficult is just so stupid.

And yes, this cut is high maintainence, it might look a little wierd if your headshape is different as well. And also u wont look the same if ur hairline isnt as high as nakata's. But you will definately get something close for alot cheaper. Here in Sydney you can get hair cuts for less than $15, but $30US seems a little fucked up (for a simple cut).

and yes, bring a photo, esp that one with different angles.

  3. There are a number of things,

    1. Fit - makes or break your look through you sillouhette: difference between looking like the paper bag princess or stylish

    2. Quality - garments of good quality maintain their shape and thus give you a better sillouhette and also good quality materials feel GOOD.

    3. Color - Colors play a major role in the composition of your outfit's aesthetic, and also I usually think of how well the other pieces in my wardrobe would match with a new piece.

    4. Ease of Access - I don't buy clothes I can't try on, because you'll never know what you're getting until you fork out cash for it. Since I live in sydney I do have to forgo alot of stuff I see other wearing on this forum.

    5. Originality - It's nice to have something a bit unique from the rest of what you're city is wearing.

    6. Price - After all the above criteria is met, I ask myself: is the price within my willingness to pay?

  4. swooc has a point... don't go to roger david! the thing is, if you try to skimp on a suit, you'll ending paying more in the end as you'll throw out your cheap suit and buy a more expensive one anyway.

    $200 suit with 4 wears = $50/wear

$700 suit with years of wear = <$10/wear.

  5. Well alot of my friends says ti looks good, and I actually quite like it as a slim shoe with slim jeans, as a bit of a minimalisitic look. (poor seven.homme though for the bad reception on here :P )

however the two things holding me back from it was the fact that everyone in sydney seems to have it and that turns me off a bit.

The second thing was when i tried them on it really lacked support, as I am used to wearing sneakers and have slight alignment problems.

I'm looking for a pair of boots atm, and some more sneakers (i'm a bit of a sneakerhead). What places should I check out other than Hype.
