  1. Well regardless of conversions or jokes about conversion...it looks like both the indigo and black 50s are only 11.5” in the front rise for a 36...

any help with a reliable size chat (preferably in inches) would be appreciated

the indigofera looks good according to standard and strange charts....they are sold out but could be worth seeking out

Hello in the USA,  looking for recommendations for a black high rise straight or slim straight. NOT a relax taper.  Need a FR of at least 12” for a 35.5-36.
First thought is the LF NYC Black Maria greaser but they are  out of stock and the thighs on my indigo pair are pretty wide.

The new SC for self edge pair look interesting but they are definitely pricy....

    thanks

TCB also makes a black 50's that look quite nice but the black 1947's might be my second choice. $240 seems reasonable for sold in the us novelty cane's to me.

Thanks for the replies all. I had the slimmer SC and was too tight in the thighs.  I would love the TCB but the Charts I see do. It have a 12 rise....

I found a full count version which look promising and maybe indigioffera....if not there is always the SE XSC 47 version...

I don't know what to do. 36" is too big, but I worry the 34" is going to be too small.

Same here I guess my wallet should be happy that there is no solution for those of us on that gap between 34 and 36

wow that’s big big gap in sizing

The new slim tapered model goes on sale July 5. Details to be released 3 days before that unless one of you SuFu ninjas can get info or a link to the product page from Self Edge earlier.

I’d like to a size chart before rushing to SE or potentially fighting a line

anyone have any info on cut or rise ?

    ps

my goal is to find a high rise pair with a 32 inch waist 12 in FR, 16 BR and a 12.75-13in thigh.

This is my eternal goal.  Find a slimmer straight cut with a FR of 12 or great at a 36 waist....lifters cuts don’t count on basis of being imbalanced imho lol

  8. Speaking of 50s- does anyone know if the denimo size chart is generally accurate ?   I need at least a 12 inch front rise in a 36 bit their chart shows well below that

Actually grabbed some one wash 105s yesterday from Canoe Club last week with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement because the things are just so neppy. Like for real. It was great and I felt great about my kop.

But then I wore them and things changed. I'm not so into the fit anymore. I'm thinking 107s now. Anyway shameless plug the 105s are up for sale if anyone wants a pair of few hours old size 5 o/w for cheap tags in hand

    Can you post measurements ?

It looks like the new 1108 tapers from the knee down and is about 0.5" slimmer at the hem compared to the old model, which was more of a slim straight fit.

    don't know if that's a good thing-lol:D

    miss the arcs as well

Probably a 12 inch thigh with a 9 inch knee and a 6 inch hem

    With a sub 10 inch rise...dreadful

Aw, so sad to hear we're losing the 1108. Such a classic design.

Here's a little interview about them. Mikiharu describes them as a 60s shape with 40s detailing.

I am having a drastic clearout here and was planning on eBaying these. Now I'm conflicted. Hmmm.
