I have faith....but it seems we've turned into an all too familiar Skrawny bunch...

Good to see some BK's on here...where is everyone that bought them up??

beautiful indeed, beatle...so many amazing jeans these last few pages, I'm loving this contest! Like chicken said a few months ago, you really start to appreciate the quality of the denim after a few months wear, whereas in the beginning one might not think much of it...

I love these jeans so much I've been kicking around the idea of buying myself another pair for kicks... Very tempting, somebody buy these before I do!!

My vote also goes to the SExFH05...amazing jeans!

Well kiya, I don't know what to say...I'm a bit intoxicated right now but I just got home and almost cried having tried on these jeans post soak. I can honestly say I'm in love...maybe its the alcohol talking but god damn...congratulations on these AMAZING jeans!
Post soak measurements (give or take, check earlier posts for pre-soak), size 29, 45 minute warm soak:
Waist: 14.75
Front/Back: 9.2/12
Thigh (BiG/SE): 10.75/10.3
Knee: 7.25
Leg Opening: 6.75
Inseam: 34.75 (possibly more, will measure again later)
I was too excited to put on socks, sorry

Why aren't these image tags working? Or is it just me...

Woke up to a pleasant knock at my door...
Size 29, went down two to my vanity size (true waist 31). They fit pretty loose all around so I'm glad I sized down on this. For reference, I'm 5'8" 135lbs.
Waist: 30in.
Thigh (BiG): 10.75
Leg Opening: 7.25
Inseam: 37.75 give or take
Pre-soak pics (excuse the socks):

EDIT: eh, I can't get the image tags to work, sorry...And yes, I gave them a warm 45 minute soak just now, I'll post measurements and fit pics once they dry.

Maybe old news but I saw this over on styleforum:
"...there is a new APC cut coming on the market shortly.
According to Jean Tuitou's blog (APC's boss and founder), the "Petit Standard" is basically a lower rise NS, tighter in the waist, hip and thighs.

If the contest starts on May 1, are contestants allowed to soak their jeans before then or no?
I'd love to do this as well, but I'm not sure I can bear holding out on the soak and actual wear till May 1st....

Good news on the belt! Remember to take pics of those too if you can! ;D

Even here I see that for Americans the world is only limited by America ))))) Call this "the USA tour" than ))))) Half joke ))))
Hey man, don't be knockin on the tour just because no one let you in! You not being in it has nothing to do with a "limited American view of the world", but rather everything to do with you asking to participate days after the tour started and the list was decided. Other people have been put on the waiting/replacement list, and if it really means that much to you I'm sure you can be added too, but that's only if those who signed up before you pass on their turns. So please don't complain and show a little respect to those who signed up before you, as they did so without any cheating. After all, theres nothing we American's like more than freedom and equal opportunity. (10)

to totally epic and everyone else in the tour...I know theres somewhat of a feeling that when you post pictures on these types of tours there has to be an interesting background/places famous around where you live/etc. but I just want everyone to know that while I do enjoy the variety, please don't feel that you MUST go to some beautiful locale or that any other pictures are worthless...I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't feel pressured into only showing us what you consider insteresting pics! ANY thing will do really, I'm sure we all just want to see the jeans in action, even if its just in random locations around your house or neighborhood...Just thought I'd mention...I realize that it's sometimes hard to post stuff everyday (especially when we've been spoiled on other tours by tg, beatle, ordo, etc.)...

Who said anything about black ones! The blue ones will be shorter or longer than that?
Funny way to show appreciation...anyways kiya already mentioned the inseam earlier:
As for now, pretty much all the rumors are true with the exception of the inseam, which will be about 35" to 36" post soak.0 -
Time to update the first page!
Quick question because I can't think right now...for the online release of 17:00, I'm assuming thats going by Pacific Standard Time? I completely forgot how you guys did this in the past...

oh my god, Saturday, April 19th? (I suck at math, throw in a Leap Year and I'm done for...) Time to start saving....

From the Self Edge thread, because it seems some people haven't read this:
We'll be putting up more info on the SEXFH05 within the next few weeks.. As for now, pretty much all the rumors are true with the exception of the inseam, which will be about 35" to 36" post soak.0 -
The sides of the stacking on my 3001's (left leg) are fading like crazy at the creases--it's only been two weeks tops. Too much friction from the stack I would assume. I hope it doesn't turn out uneven and ugly.
haha thought this quote was particularly hilarious...they've come a LONG way indeed. Congratulations Mr.3001!

I have plans to take these hiking this and other weekends. They're going to see mountains, beaches, lakes, rivers, and forests before I get done. Pacific Northwest FTW!
meta: fix your sig.
Sounds good, but don't forget to take pics! I promise harsh MI winters and lots of outdoorsy stuff + where ever I decide to travel for vacation when I get these next January...
