  1. Out of curiosity does ACR package any little extras when buying from them? Only bought second hand before

No little extras, just your subnet login details on your 3rd purchase

  2. ... prob will end just getting the dsptch.

If only that dsptch waistbag uses a smaller strap.. I've actually considered replacing the strap but I reckon it'll be too much of a hassle

  3. Anyone got a recommendation for a small sling/shoulder bag/fanny pack to only carry one mirrorless camera and a couple of batteries?

My only requirement is that I want the strap to be the small, 25mm type and so far I've only found two bags; Acronym's 3A-2 and Bagjack's Sputnik.

Opening/closing the 3A-2 is going to be a pain in the ass and my wife hates the Sputnik, so I've been looking for alternatives for the last couple of hours to no avail. Anyone?

  4. I too am looking at buying direct from Acronym for the first time. How much does one usually expect? I'm sure this has been covered, but I can't seem to find an easy answer.

What kind of 'easy answer' were you looking for? Import taxes varies wildly depending on your country, prices, fabrics, etc. Try searching the Acronym thread to see how much the others are getting charged for and go from there.

  6. .. the P16A is clearly a favourite of his, for very good reasons I can attest to.

Hated the P16A at first but I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger now. Was going to go with the P17 but I'm a short guy so the P16A is probably going to look like a drop crotch pants on me anyway lol

CH is more comfy and much more luxe feeling, qualities that you can't really get across photos and with everyone's current obsession with blackness (Ch actually looks darker in sunlight the way GT fabrics do). The way it drapes and feels is more like a traditional blazer.

100% agree with this. The polyester in CH helps with durability, stain resistance and it holds color better. Well worth the price. Not much difference in light drizzle and in the case of heavy downpour, CH will dry faster due to the blend.

Tbh I don't really see any advantage of going with Stotz. Feels like a densely woven chinos to me.

Never worn, never tried on, didn't even open the packaging.

My favorite ACR pants so far but I've got 4 pairs already and wanted to try the Apparat.

  8. Side note, does anyone know what these detachable tags are for?

They don't seem necessary to affix the module. I use the vertical tags to slot the module on, then the loops to attach the corners. These tags just seem to get in the way, I remove them before using the module.

    Those are belt loops

  9. Exactly like how Errolson wore his 5TS on the pic a couple post above.

The way the straps were positioned, coupled with a bunch of stuff on the molle pouches made it really unbalanced.

This made it a lot better but I'm not sure if 2 rows of molle webbing is strong enough to carry the bag when fully loaded?
